We haven't seen it in the manga only readable in novels(which most of us didn't read) That's why tomorrow we're gonna have New Content since the Naruto gaiden ended!!!

I believe and genuinely consider the novels canon as it's the only material that bridges the gap between the last and cp 700. Also kishi himself approved them and they are really awesome.

The novels are good. I just got my hands on the Sasuke one, but it's going to take a while to translate. If it's like the Itachi and Sakura and Shikamaru novels, holy crap it's gonna be good

I'll give you the milking point, but the boruto story has enough potential to be better than the original and there is way more story to tell and things to explore
