He delivers the role well enough... But... Is it just me or he just didn't fit the role that well?

IMO he just seemed to have been eye-candy for the mums going with their kids.

Idk. Wdy think?

Well, he fit the part well under a Lawful-Neutral political villain, right up to when he was unmasked as Grindelwald, so as a secondary character, I think he did pretty well. I personally believe having villains that aren't outright MUAHAHAHAHA villains are better, especially when their goals aren't overtly spelled out in front of the audience. Screw that noise.

Eye candy for me also.

I haven't seen the film yet so unsure if he's miscast but he's the only real selling factor for me. Good that the film has at least one decent actor in it.

It was refreshing to see new faces in it though. I would have found it boring if it was a star studded one. The acting woukd have been A-Grade but just seeing the same faces would be a bit commonplace. Loved Farrell in In Bruges so seeing him in Fantstic Beasts ...it was just a bit hmm for me. He suits comedies imo a bit more

Looking forward to new stuff though
