Just like how liberalism has an extreme in the form of regressives and SJWs, conservatism has a newly founded extreme in the form of the Alt-right. The Alt-right has existed for a while, mostly on the internet and online forums and shit like that, but now the movement is starting to pick up traction. There's been a video going around of an alt-right conference that happened, where this alt-right activist (leader) Richard Spencer gives an anti-Semitic, anti-minority, racist speech that is just ****ed up beyond all belief. And by the end of the speech, you can see people in the crowd heiling Hitler Trump.

The real alt-right is cancer; at the surface, it combats feminism, and PC culture, but its deeply rooted in white nationalism, authoritarianism, and even racism. To Any moderate, sensible people who had identify with any beliefs of the alt-right or aligned themselves with alt-right ideology in the past, jump ship and steer clear of this movement.

I never heard of alt-right until Hillary. They was a voiceless group until Media gave them a voice. Trump might have incited them, but they were almost extinct before he came.

True. This is never good to identify with an ideology.

They were alive and strong before this election, its only now that Trump and the media gave them a voice, like you said. Trump denounced the alt-right as the alt-right denounced Trump, but seeing as how they have common interests in nationalism and combating identity politics and pc culture with Trump, they plan on using him as a platform to achieve their goals.

That's honestly some scary stuff.

Well only after the winning the presidency has trump started to distance from them but during the election he got support of the head of the kkk which he didn't denounce and he has people in his cabinet with confirmed racist and racial remarks

From what I gathered during this election, Conservatives has always hated liberals for being "political correct". That doesn't mean they hated liberals, they was just against identity politics such as being labeled. I belive that Trump was true speaking to - thoses conservatives.

The alt right is different becuase it lumps together radical or extreme grouos with correlating views on race, gender, and ***. They took Trump words as code to act openingly about racism and being misogynistic, etc.

I don't know in real life but the Internet gives the impression that each party hates the others guts, and even tho I don't fall in either party the right is hypocritical when it comes to political correctness they want to be able to say anything about others but when it comes to something they hold dear it's ww3

And for trump and the alt right let's just say trump wasn't the one to start the racial divisiveness of his campaign he did nothing to renounce those sentiment and clearly show he doesn't stand for that, but did it when he was elected

And tbh this Richard Spencer prick is just bandwagoner of this movement you can tell he doesn't believe this but is just some sick joke to him

Most of you and even I don't understand what is going on with the alt-right.

I am part of the place that meme'd Trump into the white house. Alt-right started as a group that is far right when it is about immigrantion, islam, government etc. But they do not necessarily like the republicans. Alt-right has or used to have every race in it but something has changed.

Liberals, Clinton +media created the term alt-right not the people who are associated with it. What happened is that out of nowhere there has been a split in the so called alt-right. Richard Spencer who calls himself now the leader of the alt-right movement has become the voice of the movement. Now other alt-right people call themself the "new right" because they disagree with most stuff Richard spencer is saying.

I don't associate myself with the alt-right since the term is literally made by the opposition. Many people who are in that "alt-right" group think Richard spencer is controlled opposition to make the normal alt-right look bad.

Basically the alt-right started as a internet group of people who made memes and supported Trump against clinton and trump because he was not a "real"republican. After other big youtube networks started supporting the alt-right and Clinton called them out for being the alt-right the group became bigger.

And since this last week out of nowhere there is an alt-right leader who didn't even get chosen.

Although Richard spencer did say some stuff I can agree with in the speech at the end he became just as retarded as those BLM leaders.

Edit: for the people that call the alt-right even richard spencers alt-right neo-nazi's they are not. Neo nazi's have nothing to do with this alt-right although they might support the alt-right. In fact most people look down on neo-nazi's for being just as degenerate as the liberal sjw's.

That's bullshit. Milo is only telling them what that want to hear. The alt right is so regressive; they hate change. That's why they feel anyone as a threat.

I made a thread about the alt-right vs SJW. I think the alt-right just attracted anti-SJW memers but also Neo-Nazis and so there is a lot of confusion as to what it means and people trying to adopt the word for their own propaganda.

lol did you just say that SJWs are just as bad as Neo-Nazis? I don't like SJWs, but they're nowhere near as bad as Neo-Nazis.

They're Neo-Nazis. Plain and simple.

Neo-nazi's are skinheads and even they are not a nazi. Nazi means nationaal socialist and you can't be one when your nation doesn't work like that. It is the same as saying I am a communist while having an apple iphone and living in hollywood hills
So your telling me the alt right is just online trolls who went mainstream

Well that is actually...

TRUE

Not even joking we made hashtags on twitter become popular, made youtube videos compilations, looked through all clintons emails etc
