And the Senju buddhists?

I say that because the Uchiha name themselves after a lot of creatures and tengu spirits. And their strongest techs are named after Izanami, Izanagi, and Amaterasu - gods of Shinto. And after all, they seem to almost adore their ancestors, especially Indra and Rikudou.

These ropes here mean purification, so "purification to the Uchiha" in the shinto meaning and simbolism.

And maybe the Senju are buddhists - but I just found a "proof" in one of Hashirama's strongest tech and Butsuma - his father - is a name for a kind of table specific to the Buddhism.

Do they really have a religion, or it's just simbolism for the techs and characters?

It makes sense, but it makes some sense for Sasuke to be from Shinto religion, those ropes, and Madara talking about some never ending cycle of suffering that is not just from Shinto but also Hinduism.

The Hyuga Clan has Taoism inspiration. Also Gentle Fist being inspired by Baguazhang and Dim Mak, two chinese martial arts.

The Uchiha Clan being influenced by Shintoism. With Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, Susanno, Izanagi and Izami all being deities in that religion.

The Senju Clan using Buddhist imagery. The clan symbol is a Vajra, and Hashirama's ultimate attack is a giant buddh

Yes, it's a possibility. But it makes sense too that the Uchiha are from the Shinto religion. They are all into shrines, clans and named their techs after some gods as Izanami. It would be just a simple simbolism for me if Kishi mixed up some Eye of Ra things and from other cultures. But as it's just Shinto I associate the idea with the fact that the Uchiha do have some religion of their own.

i was agreeing, it seems that many clans share their own ideals and parallels that (kind of) basically imply this

IDK but the Divine Tree (Shinju) was based on Garden of Eden (Adam & Eve).

And Kaguya is based on Eve as she brought "sin - chakra- to the world. But she seems neutral if you consider that she isn't a goddess but just part of the Japanese folklore. However you can look the other way, as she has been compared to a moon goddess, that does exist, but in a chinese story, where a rabbit stays with this goddess producing the elixir of imortallity.

The train begins page 22.

But what do you think? Does the Uchiha Clan seems religious, shinto, atheist, free from that matter...?

my Wisdom says : "Teh infinit Tsukoyomi is teh atheist version of teh Afterlife...."

I wonder if he really wanted people to be happy, or they wanted them to be trapped in a false illusion of hope, as he always did when he had Izuna. It's really difficult to decipher if you think about it.
