I'm saying if Minato and Madara fought without the Nine-Tails at Madara's side, Minato would not be able to do anything against Madara, because as I stated, Madara would always remain permeable.

Also, Minato was never a Sage. Nowhere in the manga does it say that Minato was a Sage - the only connection he had to Mount Myoboku was summoning toads. To become a Sage, one needs enormous reserves of chakra, and although Minato did have a fair supply, it just didn't cut it for Sage training.

And we don't know whether Madara can keep himself intangible for a set period of time, or if he can control his body's permeability at will. My mind is going towards the latter, simply because Madara has not specified or hinted that he can only keep his body intangible for a duration of time until the technique expires (like Pain's Shinra Tensei, the five second problem). That's what I think. But since it's not going to happen, I suppose all it will remain is just a theory.

It's been a looooong time since i have been here and posted a prediction.

I don't know if anyone has posted this before but i have been thinking after reading some interesting theories here(dragon lord about gedo mazo, think he's on to something!), that it was not coincidence that Nagato was born with his Rinngean eyes. He might have been chosen by gedo mazo himself who already had them in his possession.


If sage of the six paths died with the gedo mazo sealed inside of himself and the Madara/topi is like avatar of gedo mazo. He might have been able to take the eyes of the six paths for himself. Not able to use them for himself, he might have chosen Nagato to be the vessel for him.

And if Madara is indeed gedo mazo... Kabuto must have summoned Madara himself...

Maybe Madara was the first vessel for gedo mazo, but after the fight with the fourth he had to find a better one... Maybe Toby? Or maybe it doesn't matter witch sharingan user it is, only condition that they have to be near death or have to been able to use 2cound level sharingan. Maybe after the kyubi attack on the village the third and the others learned the thread of the gedo mazo and that's might be one more reason why Itatchi was ordered to kill his own clan. Leaving less body for gedo mazo to take over. And maybe that's how he cheated death when saskue saw his face and black flames appeared. He just switched to Itachi body instead.

This makes a little sense since Madara was the first one to be able to achieve sharingan 2cound level and the first one to die that way. leaving a door open for gedo mazo to take over the body. And the more you think about it the more it makes sense. Sharingan abilities has a lot to do with time so it makes sense if it was some kind of a portal to gedo mazo powers and to himself.

Naruto: I know the truth now. That masked man was behind everything - he was responsible for the death of my parents, used the Nine-Tails to destroy the village, killed Sasuke's clan, set up Itachi's death, ordered Pain to destroy Konoha, and is planning to use Sasuke to wipe out everyone in the village. I'm putting an end to him now.

Madara: This'll be the perfect opportunity for Sasuke to try out his new eyes. Kabuto should take part as well.

Madara steps inside Kabuto's room, who has his back turned to him, but Kabuto already recognizes his presence.

Madara: We have a matter that requires your attention.

Kabuto: I was working on a little project. But it can wait. What is it?

Madara: There are 100 spies outside the base. I want you, Sasuke, and Zetsu to find them, and kill them all. We cannot let them discover our location.

Kabuto (in thought): When I was the one that showed it to them.

Kabuto: 100, you say? That’s a considerable amount. But are you sure Sasuke cannot handle them alone? It would be good to train a little before he faces Naruto.

Madara: The transplanted eyes might reject him. And in case they try to make a capture, I need you to step in and take care of things.

Sasuke walks in.

Madara: You're just in time.

Sasuke’s eyes are closed, and as he opens them, his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan is revealed.

If the Shinigami does not prevent Edo Tensei users to summon those who have been sealed, why didn't Kabuto summon Hashirama then? Hashirama was the one responsible for putting Madara in the state he is now ("a mere shell of [his] former self"), so it would make more sense for Kabuto to summon the First Hokage instead of the Fourth.

By the way, Minato is not the only one who knew Madara unleashed the Nine-Tails on Konoha. The fox itself knew, but it had and still has no intention of telling what it knows. As far as Minato's skills go, he could defeat Madara, but only in the circumstances that are approriate for Minato to do so. In other words, if Madara were to remain intangible for the duration of their battle, what would Minato do? After the Nine-Tails had been pulled from Madara's control by the Contract Seal, Madara needn't worry about the brief period of time he would be able to exert control of the fox, and thus could have made his body permeable and the battle would have been a clear-cut stalemate. It was because of the Nine-Tails that Madara chose to end his battle with Minato as quickly as possible, but if the fox were not there, Minato would not be able to do a single thing. Now, considering the fox is not in Madara's possession, if the revived Minato were to fight Madara, what would he do? Nothing.

I know you agree that it wasn't Minato inside the coffin, but according to your logic that the souls of those sealed inside the Shinigami can be revived by way of Edo Tensei, it would have made more sense for Kabuto to revive Hashirama, one of the few people Madara actually admires (however "hat[ing the most"). The final coffin with the unseen person inside it does have something to do with Madara's identity (or longevity), I agree with you, but who it is we do not know.

We do not even know for sure whether Madara is a shell of his former self. It could be him just saying this. We would need to see the battle between him and Hashirama to know for sure what happened. We would also need to see what happened directly after the battle. I am very intrested in seeing both of these things and I believe we will.

Madara might want Kabuto to go along with Sasuke to monitor his actions. If Kabuto shows suspicious signs of trying to kill Sasuke, then Madara will know. That was what I had in my mind writing the prediction. But you are correct, it does appear to be a mistake. I suppose I'll just leave it unedited, not to distort the reading quality. Madara might be lying about his current powers, but if Kabuto were to summon Hashirama (which will not happen), wouldn't Madara be shocked anyway? To see the one person who was actually capable of defeating him (while Minato was victorious in his battle against Madara, in the end he was forced to give up his life to deal with Madara's weapon, so in my mind this is a stalemate; again, I could be wrong) return to the world of the living for another appearance, something I'm sure Madara would do his best to avoid (such as having Sasuke kill Kabuto).

Yes, every generation surpasses the previous one, as said by Kakashi to Kakuzu just before killing him with a Chidori, so don't you think Minato, too, would not be summoned because Naruto's generation has already taken over? Both Hashirama and Minato are heroes, but their time is over; they were the best in their lifetime, let's leave it that way. There are people in Naruto's time that could beat Madara, I agree, but those are a very select few. I would have to say only three people would be able to pull it off, those being Naruto, Sasuke, and Kabuto. Also, Minato was referring to a "special power" needed to beat Madara (most likely the Nine-Tails), so I'm not sure whether by chakra amount or intelligence, but Minato was certain that some set of abilities is needed to defeat Madara - who possesses these? A few do, but the rest do not. Even if Madara's claim of being a "mere shell of [his] former self" is true, he is still able to take on opponents with relative ease.

In the coffin must be a new or unknown character, because quite frankly all the characters we've seen (Sage of the Six Paths included) don't qualify (by means of saying, why would they shock Madara so much?) to be in that coffin. Is it Madara's father? Most likely not, but in the coffin must be someone who Madara knew (and admired for his/her power), and they are the last piece of the puzzle in unmasking (in every sense of the word) Madara's true identity. I agree with you, though, it is someone that nobody suspects - until we see it from Kishimoto, we are still in the dark, guessing, like everbody else. But that's makes it interesting.

As far as a manga link goes, I don't have a specific chapter, but it has been implied throughout the many chapters. Consider this: Hashirama was the First Hokage of Konoha, correct? He divided the tailed beasts among the five great nations to begin peace talks with them, but as a result, the opposite of Hashirama's intended results occurred. Hoping to quell hostilities, it actually increased them, thus leading to this First Shinobi War. Before his death, Hashirama passed on the title of Hokage to his brother, Tobirama, who also died during this same war. So, considering that Tobirama died in this war as well, his older brother Hashirama shared the same fate. This may not be the clearest explanation, but I think you will be able to understand it.

Right Minato was not a Sage because it wasn't menitoned true but from what we have seen Minato had a lot of chakra just like Naruto and we don't know whether Minato tried for Sennin training so you can't say that also. I think Jiraiya never ever told Minato doing Sennin training just like Jiraiya never told Naruto. But you are right about one thing many guys believes Minato is a Sage just because he was able to summon frogs well that's not necessarily true.

Kabuto: I was working on a little project. But it can wait. What is it?

Madara: There are 100 spies outside the base. I want you, Sasuke, and Zetsu to find them, and kill them all. We cannot let them discover our location.

Kabuto (in thought): When I was the one that showed it to them.

Kabuto: 100, you say? That’s a considerable amount. But are you sure Sasuke cannot handle them alone? It would be good to train a little before he faces Naruto.

Madara: The transplanted eyes might reject him. And in case they try to make a capture, I need you to step in and take care of things.

Sasuke walks in.

Madara: You're just in time.

Sasuke’s eyes are closed, and as he opens them, his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan is revealed.

Sasuke: Let's go.

Good prediction but I don't think the last part will happen I mean Madara sending both Kabuto and Sasuke together that's not going to happen and so far in the manga Madara hasn't told Sasuke that Kabuto has joined them right I don't remember but I think Madara still hasn't told Sasuke. So I think Sasuke will ask Madara some explanation first that will be interestingxd
