As of the end of the current arc I think they're closer to even than anything. Vegeta got a extra day(year) in of training over goku before they went back for round 2 and completely dominated black

Goku is likely stronger only because of KaioKen Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan which has a small success rate of 10% and major drawbacks.

Goku won a more intense beam struggle against Merged Zamasu, and he actually damaged Merged Zamasu. It took both Vegeta and Trunks to push back Merged Zamasu's ki ball, and even then they didn't damage him.

Nah Goku nearly died doing that. Vegeta just went to help trunks because he was being overpowered.

Boy, no, you're completely and utterly washed by DBS ways of things... knowing damn well a mere beam struggle proves nothing. That's like saying Kaiyoken goku was stronger than vegeta back in the day cause he won that beam struggle... yeah you see my point right?

They are about even right now I think.
Even though Vegeta trained half a day (makes half a year in the room of spirit and time).

Vegeta has been born with a higher power lvl, but he is generally weaker than Goku.
Goku has been born with a lower power lvl but he seems to be better in growing in power than Vegeta,
and is therefore more often than not, stronger than Vegeta. Goku usually has the edge at least.


On top of that Goku has better techniques and is more battlesmart (not to be confused with intelligence in general, as Vegeta is obviously more intelligent in general).

Goku almost dies after doing that. The sinopsis of the chapter says Goku used up all his energy in that attack, putting his life in risk. Vegeta did not do that.

And power beam =/= all power, when in speed and cqc Vegeta is currently very superior since he took a shit on black.
