Just saw the first episode....and the animation...is terrible
Ash looks younger and his barber needs to get fired...

Actually the animation is fantastic. What people seem to have a problem with is the direction in which they took the series (full-kiddy mode) but I really don't mind it at all. I definitely won't be watching it but Sun and Moon has style and it shows quite clearly.

A cool Ash would've been better, but any change is a good change for Pokemon.

I guess you are right, the pokemon fight was indeed pretty awesome, but I can't dig the character style...
