With byakugan you can see everything around you in 360. That means that Itachi can use Tsukyiomi for free from every side.
I'm pretty sure Tsukuyomi requires direct eye contact

For normal ppl :| for byakugan that sees in 360 your eyes get a good look at Itachi's sharingan from any angle![]()

no. You need direct eye contact for sharingan genjutsu to work. Merely looking into a sharingan users eyes isn't enough. He/ she has to look into your eyes as well.no. well I would assume that since dust and fog can block optical genjutsu that would mean that the technique travels in a method similar to emitting light. So seeing how byakugan receives chakra and light from a near 360 degrees I don't see how it can avoid picking up a genjutsu directed towards the user that falls within their range.
Merely parroting direct eye contact isn't a really worthwhile reply if it doesn't explain why. Its the equivalent of spam
Reflecting is only possible with Rinnegan, and Zabuza wasn't protecting himself from genjutsu if memory serves. I don't even think genjutsu had been brought up that early. He was just trying to make Kakashi's eye useless. The reason Zabuza closed his eyes was most likely to focus on sound seeing how he couldn't see anything either. And optical genjutsu works by sending out Chakra through your eyes into the eyes of an opponent. Seeing how Kabuto felt that he could block out genjutsu by blocking out his dinghy I would assume that optical genjutsu depends on the ability to see. In other words the victim's eyes have to be able to take in your chakra as info the same way it does with light. You have yet to explain y direct eye contact is needed when the opponent is able to receive those signals in 360Poor assumption, and it can't. Zabuza had to close his eyes entirely to avoid genjutsu, and if it worked via light looking at itachi's reflection in the water would have got you trapped as well.
