Classical liberals are perfectly fine. The trouble is, the face of the modern day version of Liberalism is that of heavily regressive liberals who aren't even proper liberals, and they are ruining the culture of the entire West. And before anyone says "Buuut the extreme right is bad too", that is true, but the difference is that the extreme right doesn't dominate the mainstream media, academia/universities and Hollywood, which are the pillars of Western society. It's because of them that we are now seeing more and more results such as the Brexit vote, Trump's win in the elections and so forth. People are simply tired of being gratuitously labelled as "racist, sexist, bigots!!" This video sums up what I'm saying perfectly.
