Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. Sorry for the wait lol. Let's begin, shall we? I'll be pretty active with replying to this thread too of course from now on xD.
Let's start with something easy. Just what exactly is your favorite part of House Katsuryoku? You don't need to make a convoluted answer. It can be an ability, the passives we gain, or the creativity. Anything that comes to mind.

I think my favorite thing is the sheer versatility that comes with being able to choose what matter the Genki interacts with. Its just a really cool and unique ability, it allows the clan to have a lot of offensive strategies.
Alright, well. With that basic question let's begin. As an Opening in the clan you are given a green poncho. Carry it with you and wear it with pride. The poncho signifies the start of your journey in the clan teachings. With that, we shall begin. So aside from your general understanding of how the interactions with matter Genki interact with what else do you know about the clan?

Alright so the House is based on the teachings of the Genki. The Genki reside in the pure world, a world separate from our own in which they reside. However we live in the impure world and using the clans teachings and abilities we are first able to see and sense, and later call upon them Genki, calling them into our impure world. Its also important to note that these are not spirits of the deceased, they have only existed as Genki.
As such one who has not undergone the clans training cannot see the Genki under usual circumstances, however when affecting our world the Genki or their influences can become visible. Finally the Genki can also possess the summoner, aiding them in battle for a variety of purposes.

Now to be clear, Genki are not souls of passed humans. They are entirely different. Beings of a different world that were always Genki. It is through the shamanistic teachings of our House that we become able to communicate, form partnerships, and unions with them.
Your explanation is the gist of it. Ancestors of House Katsuryoku basically developed these teachings to communicate with the Genki. But let's go into more depth. The basis for the clan is the purer and raw form of spiritual energy - we call this ethereal energy. This is basically what Genki are composed of. With this very malleable energy Genki can take numerous forms. This is probably one of the more versatile parts of the clan - the fact that Genki can take the shape of literally anything. A Genki can be a cube, sphere, or cylinder. They can be a chair, desk, or sword. They can be a dog, wolf, dragon, or any mythical creature your heart desires. When the time comes in your training and you obtain a personal companion you will be able to determine their shape. And it can be anything.
Now, in terms of their personalities most Genki are primal. They hunger for spiritual energy. All Genki, companion or not, consume spiritual energy ravenously. They can even consume chakra and split it into its component energies (spiritual and physical). With the two components they will consume the spiritual and give the user the physical which can have varying effects on his or her body.
So in order to see and communicate with Genki each House member must undergo a ritual of sorts. But before that can happen they must come to master their convictions. As you can tell from all I just said the House is very spiritual. Quite literally we revolve around spiritual energy. So what exactly is spiritual energy?

Hm Spiritual Energy is a part of the clan I know a little less about so some more clarification on it would be good. As far as I can gather Spiritual energy refers to the Energy or Aura that a person gives off, it is essentially a beacon or indication that they are there and alive. Through the teachings of the House we can come to sense and even manipulate Spiritual energy for our own purposes. This brings me to my second point, the Genki are made of pure spiritual energy as are all things that exist in their world. By learning the ways of the house we can use spiritual energy as we wish through our willpower, forcing it to bend and submit and thus manipulate the Genki as well.
Genki are made of Ethereal Energy. Which is a 'purer' form of Spiritual Energy. So we use our willpower to sort of 'bait' Genki with chakra. We promise chakra in return for their service. All Genki hunger for chakra ravenously because it contains spiritual energy. Genki are able to split chakra into its components (physical and spiritual) and consume the latter while disposing of the Physical Energy. Make sense?
You've gained access to the House's passive abilities now. You can see Genki, sense souls and Genki, as well as control your emotions. Controlling your emotions means you can no longer suffer from the effects of techniques like Killing Intent.

Mental damage doesn't have anything to do with emotions. So yeah, they would. But no one can cause you fear, anger, hatred, etc. However, the illusion to cause those emotions could still probably work. But that would be an easy illusion to deduce given your mastery over your convictions and emotions. It is largely an RP ability but can come in handy at times.

Description: Shojun no Hel is perhaps the most essential technique throughout the House's epitome of techniques. The jutsu is based on the use of the generic Genki which whom traverse between the Pure and Impure Realms, a.k.a into our 'dimension' per say. Through the convinction of the user, and a sacrifical portion of chakra, depending on the strength of the Genki, and the Rank within the House of the user, they will forcefully be able to persuade the Genki to do their bidding. Now this can be used in a various amount of ways, essentially by bending the savage spirit in it's else deformed mass of ethereal spiritual energy, the user is capable of forming 'constructs' of ethereal energy throughout the field through hand motions or else body movements. These constructs carries a certain colour of Kūki no Yōna depending on the user, upon materilizing in the desired area of the user's choice. Ontop of that, the contructs are either flame-like or solid in the appearence, thus adding for verstality. Once the sacrfice have been made the user can freely without further payment manipulate the Genki, with the only cost being spending a move. Being hit by a Genki will either do nothing (if the spirit decides to not take a tangible form), or produce kinetic, physical damage (if he takes physical form). In this case, the Genki still has the ability to select which matter he will interact with, though that is not true for energies, as per the clan description.

Firstly it seems like quite a useful an versatile technique, with a lot of potential applications. It can create constructs where ever you wish, either solid or similar to flame. It also allows for more than one manipulation of the Genki at the cost of a move. Plus it also has the feature of being tangible or intangible in form like we talked about earlier, allowing for the genki to bypass obstructions if they wish. Overall its just a really cool technique, its quite broad so its hard to be specific about it lol
Yeah, that's the idea. Be wary on how you use the physical aspects of it. At your current rank you can access the C-Rank version. While it isn't remarkably strong it can really trip up some people.
At this point, with Hel's Alignment understood, you are able to obtain your personal Genki. Any questions about that? Should you have one you will state it in your bio on your next update. There isn't anything special about a personal Genki bar its basic abilities. But that can be changed with PCCJ.

Hm so with the personal genki it just has base abilities but it can communicate and co-ordinate with us right? Like be our eyes if we are blinded for example. Does it communicate with us mentally?
So, a personal Genki is a generic Genki but with your own customized personality. Technically, all Genki can be like this. Depends on how you RP it. It does not communicate mentally. But its communications cannot be detected by those without awareness of it. So it can speak to you, but if someone can't sense or be aware of it then they cannot hear it. And if you're deafened you will no longer be able to hear it. But you can still sense it. Make sense?
Yeah. Depending on the range they are from you you can speak under your breath or something like that. You can develop a close relationship with your Genki as well so you can communicate with them through reactions or whatever. But it would need to stay reasonable.
