And one could argue that was the biggest mistake of his life: if he heard Madara's side he could have seen how things roll when Uchiha tries to be Hokage - they end up being manipulated. Yes, he is away from the village and from its influence. But Sarada will want to become Hokage..... That will not end well......
If Sasuke cared so much for his clan he would have heard his predecessor and where his ideas went wrong. Not just go hearing Tobirama's side of the story - and everything he said was: Uchiha are possessed by evil - making it seem that they have to deny themselves to be good to the village!..... I mean, c'mon!

I can admit that was so true. Tobirama was throwing mad shade towards the Uchiha Clan while speaking to Sasuke. Why was he resurrected again?

I would've wanted to hear Madara's story, however. After all, he spoke some mad truth about the twisted world:

And the saddest thing: he ended up without ANY follower or sympathizer. Hashirama could have stopped Tobirama and forced him to cooperate with Madara, after all, it was Tobirama's presence that failed to make things fall into place. I mean, even Madara said that he prefered to say that time to Hashirama kill Tobirama and that Hashirama thought he didn't know anything about Tobirama conspiring for him to not succeed in the elections.

Madara feels like "the Itachi that lost Sasuke", and Sasuke "the Izuna that lost Madara". They could have had a such interesting relationship! If only Sasuke had his head more opened!

I was thinking about that the other day. I rather them both go on dimension exploring after the war and come across a village that is at war against the otsutsuki clan. Then decide to protect that village from the otsutsuki clan.
