Do you believe in MadaMito?

I know Mito Uzumaki married Hashirama. But the relationship could be one sided. And as Kishi didn't care to go deep in romance related things, it's all up to speculation.

I mean he remembered her 2 times in the manga: once he told Obito of her abilities and second when he recognized her as a member of the Uzumaki.

And Mito is in the manga and opening as someone who cared deeply for other's people feelings. She seems to be a Rin-kind type of girl, who even though likes other guy, she still cares for the other.

Back when the manga was still ongoing, I though that it could've been a nice addition to the plot. Specifically it would make Madara's feelings and decisions more understandable and humane if he were in love with Mito but she chose Hashirama in the end or something among these lines.

I know it can be almost impossible, considering we are in this kind of shonen, but it's all about speculating. If he remembered her, it means she was a worthy kunoichi. And about the theory, we can talk even about just profound admiration or even some hatred he had for her teaming up with the Senju. All can be possible.

Hashi most likely died early because his life span got reduced from spamming Mokuton throughout his life. The jutsu heavily relies on Yang and we've seen with Tsunade and Nagato what using too much physical energy can do to the body.

That's a pretty good way to look at it. It would also explain why hashis mokuton was impossible for people to duplicate without his DNA in some way shape or form.
