I often see the idea of Naruto and Sasuke being equals thrown around Narutobase, but at the same time it is pushed aside by so many people...it's situational, I suppose, but I am still curious if the majority seriously holds onto this belief, and if so, which fanbase thinks that.

So, vote in the poll above...and, if possible, try not to make this another Naruto vs Sasuke discussion for as long as possible. There are literally dozens of those out there if that's what you wanna do, so use them.

If you're talking about current Naruto and Sasuke? Not even in the slightest - Naruto got rusty and lost his touch while Sasuke wen't on a journey and was able to keep his instincts/fighting abilities sharp.

Some people get on here and vote with no back up what so ever, it's honestly trashy ass fanboys.

Anyways:

Sasuke is obviously far more superior, really the only thing I have to show for that is Kurama stating so (the thing that knows naruto best) so anything you have to say otherwise is invalid.

But that's kind of cheesy easy destroying your hopes of the main character being as strong and almighty like you thought he would be (let's be honest like we all thought he would be.. even me :3)

But there are more reasons. Obviously the fact that rinnegan with no restrictions Trumps Naruto's Hillary :sdo:

Also let me give you a fact: There are very little explosion kills/defeats (i.e. tbb killing or defeating someone) which is naruto's strongest move, correct. Sooo that's basically all naruto has in his arsenal... how is he suppose to defeat sasuke lmao? (I know I said no restrictions but that's apart of the facts... the % is small with explosion deaths)

Naruto can't connect with Sasuke, he literally puts him to shame in taijutsu:

Sasuke has always been superior at taijutsu if you ever thought otherwise because of the amount of power naruto displays in his feats or hits you're wrong. That displays power yes, not taijutsu alone.

Hm, speed, sasuke obvious has teleportation (which naruto of any version can't react to). "Oh in the movie they ran the same" false sasuke was always faster ever so slightly than naruto in key moments you can see yourself. Arguably the fastest.

Raw power (including sage mode and kurama) naruto can have that one, but even then I could add the movie feats to which they dealt equal damage, but why not let him have it? It's his strongest trait.

Ninjutsu, for obvious reasons sasuke is far superior with rinnegan not questionable, it's just obvious. Only jutsu naruto ever uses is rasengan.

Sasuke is obviously smarter.

The question is how is Naruto legit superior or even considered equal to that man? Like seriously no hate or bash.

As far as I'm concerned sasuke could ameno, off guard genjutsu naruto and kurama (if that doesn't work just CT Naruto which is a seal), human path, has all nine bijuu chakra (assuming if he has them) or kurama's chakra, bijuu susanoo with no plot restriction and .... how does he win? Like legit.

People are going use that old excuse that naruto is rusty but what they don't know or realise that naruto only became hokage when boruto was around 8 years old or something meaning he only stoped training at that point in time he had pretty much alot of time to train, go to missions,etc. we even saw him training at the end credits of the last.

And also i havent looked up at the viz chapters of gaiden but going through the chapter of kissmanga or manga stream i noticed that when kurama says that nauto is "rusty" he was actually refering that his batle senses were rusty not his streng power or anything of that genre.

I do think that naruto is superior especially when he is with the form he used agains't kaguya with all the bijus chakra. And not the one he has been using as adult because of plot.

I am not part of any of the fanbase but I think Sasuke might have the edge since he has a larger jutsu arsenal. I would really like to see a battle between two going all out. (By all out I mean every possible jutsu in their arsenal to win)

Naruto was rusty in Gaiden not afterwards. Rusty does not denote that you are permanently weaker. Sasuke was superior during Gaiden because of his traveling and fighting skills were still being put to use. This is where Sauce was superior.

Naruto performed on equal terms during the Boruto movie, despite the fact he had been weakened by Momoshiki. He still managed to keep up with Sasuke during their final bout with Shiki bros.

They are still equal. One may take the lead from time to time but they are both equal.
