With exams approaching, I do not have the time to go into detail with my thoughts on the matter of the election but I will say that this is incorrect, YowYan.

Hillary was the Jewish Neocons' boy but Bernie was the Jewish leftists' candidate, and those guys are generally no less pro-Israel than the neocons - they just prefer euphemism is all.

If you have been following the Jewish community's views and feelings on Trump as I have - you would have noted that there has not been a candidate for whom their venom has been as palpable since Nixon.

I searched 7 pages but cannot seem to find my original post back to remember what I replied to.
Anywho, I was aware most candidates had ties with pro-Israel administrations/''factions'' but have not followed anything of this presidential (s)election as I don't fall for the illusion of choice after Ron Paul got cheated out of the presidential race. So I am definitely not well informed on Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein and the rest.

But thanks for correcting me on that. So, can you give me a brief sum-up of Bernie's background and ties?

I think the FBI investigations/email scandal are what tipped things over to Trump in the end.

This so far is true.

I don't like identity politics. But all I can say is that the (vocal minority at least) democratic party did in fact disenfranchise to some extent the lower white middle class so I wasn't overtly surprised that they voted this way. Disappointed, yes. Surprised, no.

Which came first the chicken or the egg the only thing I'm pretty sure of for now is the pendulum for both sides is going to keep swinging in both extremes and I won't be surprised next time if the result is we hear a louder left leaning voice which honestly will perpetuate the problem if we care we need to sit down together to fix things or keep listening to the media telling us to tear each other apart
