Nope. Are you?
Somehow 'The Last' has the only mature & good usage of both the female leads IMO. I don't quite know how it did it.

Let's not bring Tsunade into things though shall we

Well, it doesn't show us more of Sakura than we need to see....I think that's a good starting point. The character, even in a main role, hasn't been done justice in most of the series anyway, so starting now would be a waste of time IMO. Hinata and Naruto's development can both be excused when the former had not yet been given a big chance to shine and the latter is the main protagonist, with the entire series revolving his development.

Sakura's only real scenes are wingmaning Hinata, having a cool battle against the Ootsutsuki puppet collection & the mature heart to heart she has with Naruto about his childhood crush. I remember being really impressed with that.

Hinata got her moment in 'The Last' but really, Naruto simply wasn't a story with place for femininity in it's key themes and that's just a giant shame. It's a show about a bromance with a maternal FV thrown in at the last second that n o t h i n g is done with. Other than the odd grunt I can't think of another single female villain.

Yeah...Sakura's role might be small, but all in all, I really can't see the movie working without her doing what she did.

Well...at least you can't say Kishimoto didn't try. He did, the amount of Sakura we got in the series makes that much clear. He's just not very good at making characters out of females.

If Sakura and Hinata tok the initaive they had in the "Last Movie" for the entire series, they would have been excellent characters. But, it was to late.

If he isn't, then there is something seriously wrong with him ...

I believe that's called a differing opinion. I know how difficult it might be to accept it, but some people just have that.

I really liked Hinata when we first saw her and her in Shippuden (mainly the 4th Shinobi War)

There is no such thing as an "opinion" when it comes to characterization. You have been duped by the internet.

Characterization (Or hinata's personality) has nothing to do with his opinion on her being the only proper female protagonist because
1. She isn't the female protagonist sakura is that is established she is the main female character
2. Personality doesn't matter when establishing a protagonist since they're obvious
Also people can interpret characters actions differently say sakura is a sympathetic character, or she's a whiny little girl. You're the one being duped kid
