LMAO Sanji the one who got his leg cracked by a Vergo who did not even use armament hardening, or even his bamboo stick. Sanji got his leg (his strongest weapon in battle) cracked to a Vergo who was fighting with base kicks only. It couldn't be more obvious who fared better.

Vergo did not even take Sanji seriously one bit. Against Smoker he brought out his haki imbued bamboo stick from the very beginning of the fight. Take that in Vergo overpowered Sanji in his own area of expertise, kicking. He out muscled Sanji in a kicking contest while Sanji was resorting to DJ and Vergo didn't even use armament.

Which is >> Anything Sanji has shown.

Deflecting Law's room slashes >> Sanji's entire post timeskip showing.

He is the logia AND he has the better haki feats, no way that can be good for Sanji, if even I tried to I couldn't make a compelling case for him here.
Sanji was hurt beforehand and the next time we see him after the fight it's like he didn't have a fractured leg. Vergo himself couldn't even leg one hit on Sanji and no amount of haki or bamboo stick is making his strikes faster. Yeah, it couldn't be obvious who fared better in their respective situations and let me tell you it isn't the guy who ended up incapacitated at the end of his fight.

All out=/= Taken seriously

Sanji 'resorting' to DJ holds little to no weight post time skip because he uses it one everyone. Or was fodder really pushing Sanji that hard now? Not to mention just because it wasn't black arms haki doesn't mean he wasn't using haki at all, the usual electric sparks when haki users clash were present.

It's relevant though. That Vergo was fighting a Sanji who was already severely injured and wasn't using Diable Jambe. Sanji using Diable Jambe is on the same level as Luffy using partial Gear 2 and invisible Haki, which is partially lower than Luffy's mid-tier. You're holding relevance to Vergo not going all out, but completely ignoring that Sanji was incapable of going all out.

How is "Does it look like I care about this relevant and important fact" an argument against it? You can not care cuz of whatever BS reason you want, doesn't make it less relevant that Sanji wasn't using what's now a basic tactic.

If Luffy got beat the **** up by someone like Gladius or Baby 5 because he wasn't using Haki or his Gears and was injured, and someone said that makes Luffy weak, anyone here could beat their ass that you'd bring it up that he was holding back shit.

Sanji's body was already injured, so this is irrelevant.

The fact that Sanji was already injured and holding back his best abilities and still clashed toe to toe with Vergo says yeah, he did perform better. Smoker went all out, and got beat the **** down by Vergo partially trying. Sanji was incapable of going all out, and matched Vergo's blows when he was partially trying. It's relatively better.

What nonsense is this? Sanji first kicks Vergo with a full blown base kick to the face, n*gga eats and simply tells Sanji get out of my way "he is after Law, a bigger fish". Sanji uses the same kick to clash with him, Vergo simply uses Tekkai without even using Haki. Out of that mini class one man breaks his leg and you have balls to put on some fodder excuses?? WTF it doesn't matter how injured you are, you simply can't fracture a bone to someone < you :|

Draw me a situation between Luffy and Ussop that can possibly leave Luffy with a broken bone :|
If you don't think that Usopp could have broken a bone in Luffy's body while he was wobbly and talking to Gats after G4 ran out, contact your local government. They might have some good programs for people of your mental competence.

Based on the fact Post TS Sanji is somewhere around Vergo lvl, can easily evade Smoker's punch using observation haki and can hit him wit armament haki
How is he around Vergo level? Smoker fought a serious Vergo using Haki and his bamboo stick while Sanji fought a Vergo without haki and Bamboo stick.

Yes, keep ignoring that Sanji was injured and still holding back at that.

Lmfao what? The gap between Luffy and Usopp is way higher than the gap between Vergo and Sanji, my *****

Let me tell you who fared better, the guy who didn't get his leg cracked to a casual kick. This is too funny, you're basically telling me that if Luffy busts out G4 on someone and leaves them incapacitated on the ground, that person fared worse than if Luffy in G2 managed to break someone else strongest bone.

LMAO all out? What a shitty argument, Sanji has not shown anything other than DJ even against Doflamingo, stop quoting me at all if you're going to come with trash like this. Vergo showed what he looks like when he's serious, he was fighting a kicking contest with Sanji. Get that through your head, Sanji the guy who only uses kicks got overpowered by Vergo not fighting with his own preferred style and strength.

How is "Does it look like I care about this relevant and important fact" an argument against it? You can not care cuz of whatever BS reason you want, doesn't make it less relevant that Sanji wasn't using what's now a basic tactic.
No I cannot care because Vergo was not using anything but kicks and zero hardening. Again if you weren't busy salivating over Sanji you would know why I said that. DJ = the only way Sanji fights. DJ = Sanji being 100% serious (how he fought Doflamingo, how he fought anyone). Kicking only and no hardening = Vergo not taking it seriously.

If Luffy got beat the **** up by someone like Gladius or Baby 5 because he wasn't using Haki or his Gears and was injured, and someone said that makes Luffy weak, anyone here could beat their ass that you'd bring it up that he was holding back shit.
Sorry but the only comparison to Sanji's leg being cracked would be Zoro's sword being cracked. That is Sanji's strongest weapon. Zoro is not getting his sword cracked to another sword strike that was done casually by his opponent.

Getting an injury =/= getting your bone cracked. That is entirely on a different level (to make matters worse for the 100th time this was SANJI's leg), than dropping some blood. Vergo himself was dropping blood. No one cares.

Sanji's body was already injured, so this is irrelevant.
Irrelevant Usopp tanked the same attack and went on in the arc with zero issues. If you want to make an excuse that one of CC's attacks that Usopp can deal with without any real issues, can damage Sanji's body so badly, then its literally over for Sanji against a serious Vergo who can inflict much more damage doesn't matter who's in Sanji's body or not, and it makes this thread even easier to answer to.

"Holding back" Lmaoo I already dealt with this trash, thats like saying Luffy held back with G4 if he didn't use his strongest tech KKG, when he didnt even get a chance to use it. Stop.

By current showings, Smoker extreme diffs. He performed a little better than Sanji against a more serious Vergo(using hardening and bamboo). Sanji has greater attack power with hell memories though, but i'd favor Smoker slightly at the moment due to his haki feats, which may change if Sanji gets more feats this arc

To make matters worse for Sanji, is that his strongest tech relies on burning and I'm not sure how effective that would be against a smoke logia.

LMAO all out?
Where...did I say...either of them...was going all out?

Sanji has not shown anything other than DJ even against Doflamingo, stop quoting me at all if you're going to come with trash like this.
My dude, even against Fujitora, Zoro only used one sword. You're telling me every single situation of going against a person is gonna involve a person going all out, that circumstances never stop them?

Sanji used Diable Jambes against Doflamingo, while not using either against Vergo. That alone should demonstrate how much Sanji was also holding back, whether by choice or because he was forced to due to his body's condition.

Also, Hell Memories? Poêle à Frire? You're just gonna act like Sanji didn't demonstrate anything above DJ or variations of it to fit your argument?

Vergo showed what he looks like when he's serious, he was fighting a kicking contest with Sanji. Get that through your head, Sanji the guy who only uses kicks got overpowered by Vergo not fighting with his own preferred style and strength.
Sanji got his leg fractured WHILE HIS BODY WAS SO WEAK NAMI COULD CAUSE IT TO RILE IN PAIN. But yes, keep ignoring that Sanji was also severely damaged beforehand, you're clearly taking into account every factor and not just the ones that tickles your ass.

Not to mention the fact that Vergo cracking Sanji's leg happened once, and was followed by Sanji parrying all of his blows without either one getting the advantage over the other. If Vergo was so much stronger, he would have broke both of Sanji's legs and stopped him from MATCHING his blows.

No I cannot care because Vergo was not using anything but kicks and zero hardening.
Yes, yes, perfect, keep talking about how much Vergo was holding back and pretending that Sanji was going 100% with no limitations. Genius.

Sorry but the only comparison to Sanji's leg being cracked would be Zoro's sword being cracked. That is Sanji's strongest weapon. Zoro is not getting his sword cracked to another sword strike that was done casually by his opponent.
If Zoro or his swords were severely damaged beforehand, like Sanji was, then yeah, he would.

Not really. Usopp in his own body can defend himself better than Nami in a body she isn't used to.

"Holding back" Lmaoo I already dealt with this trash, thats like saying Luffy held back with G4 if he didn't use his strongest tech KKG, when he didnt even get a chance to use it. Stop.
Diable Jambe is portrayed to be a boost in the same sense Gear 2 is. Luffy went from being completely even with Blueno in Gear 2 to dominating him. Similarly, Sanji using Diable Jambe would be able to perform far better than if he wasn't using Diable Jambe. His fight with Jabra demonstrates this explicitly. But no, I'm sure you're right in that Sanji using Diable Jambe is just a couple inches ahead of Sanji not using it, and is in no way capable of shifting a fight in his favor when it wasn't before. Not like it happened against Jabra or anything, but the **** do I know? I'm just reading the manga.

To make matters worse for Sanji, is that his strongest tech relies on burning and I'm not sure how effective that would be against a smoke logia.
When you hit a Logia with Haki, it causes them to feel as though you've struck their flesh, so it wouldn't matter whatsoever unless Smoker has Akainu's method of still being magma when Haki hits him.

I don't have the patience to argue with someone using these types of arguments "Diable Jambe is portrayed to be a boost in the same sense Gear 2 is." When replying to Sanji not holding back.

No feat and no portrayal postskip implies Sanji has a mode like G4 above DJ. Sanji using DJ = Sanji fighting 100% serious. How about you wait till he has those feats there before you start arguing because these arguments are utter utter trash, and that is no exaggeration on my part.

Haki =/= seastone. Smoker is still able to use his logia abilities, so maybe he can choke/ smother the fire with his smoke.

Sanji matched all Vergo's kicks. The only reason Vergo was able to crack his leg was because he was injured at PH.
Haki logic doesn't work here because both Sanji and Vergo didnot used it.

Smoker beats Sanji based on feats.
Smoker post TS feats are also BS.

Sanji was already hurt beforehand when his leg was cracked against Vergo. I'd take my leg getting cracked out being incapacitated any day. That comparison with Luffy is stupid because Luffy whipping out G4 would be the equivalent of Vergo using his FBH. A fresh Smoker got punked while a Sanji came out with a minor injury.

Lmfao nope, he was not taking him seriously one bit, he wasn't even focused on Sanji, at that time only Law was on his mind. Sanji was nothing but a pest to Vergo he was looking right past him. It was clearer than day he could not give two shits about Sanji, when the fight ended Sanji was still thinking about the fight while Vergo acted as if Sanji and the fight never existed to begin with, he had more important things to deal with.

Law on his mind? He mentions Law after the fight. What Vergo wasn't even concerned about Law when the fight started and only mentioned him afterwards. Not being top priority =/= Not being taken seriously. I guess Pica wasn't taking Zoro seriously because he wanted to fight Luffy instead now?

Oh no it holds a lot of weight because the man he was fighting outkicked him without his own arsenal.
It still holdS no weight because when Sanji was being 'out kicked he wasn't even using DJ.
