Should I continue Supernatural?

I am at the part where we meet Castiel for the first time and its getting kinda boring for me.

Does it get interesting? I hear good things about this Lucifer character.

I like the episode's where they solve random hauntings but I hate when it gets back to main story and Dean and Sam are constantly hugging each other and crying.

It should still be good, not so great as beginning but still great, only later it will repeat same road again and again.

So your in season 4. I don't know, if you don't like it then feel free to drop it. You should never force yourself to watch something. With that being said I'm in season 12 and I don't regret a damn thing. It's my favorite show
