Tobirama didn't even hate the Uchiha, believe they were physically inferior or want them dead. That is however, everything that Hitler believed and felt about "non-Aryans" and Jews.

He gave them autonomy, the Police Force as a sign of trust, had Uchiha on his squad and praised their abilities. All whilst successfully keeping peace between the clans in the village during his tenure.

Welp, I made my point. Obito had no idea about the jutsu, and upon awakening the Mangekyo, discovered it. Regardless if he awakened it or not, its still a discovery for him, and that much is unarguable.
