There are endless possibilities like
one of the D fell in love wit World noble and they were against it, or
D's were thieves who stole something important from CD's, or
they were traitors who left Mariejois because of the discrimination.
D's were never mentioned to be previous rulers of OPverse. I know there is a theory like this but unless shown we cant be sure D's were rulers.

Strange I have never seen a guy who is fan of Pink.

We will see.

Well I don't know about the fan part but people seemed impressed and completely forgiving towards him.

that destroyed one of the main characters in a 4v1.

since when is power level a factor in characterization?

So he's a strong wannabe rapper trying to sell his mixtape. Still stereotypes galore.

Wait what? :what:
Story shows a world where you are only worth if you belong to a speshul clan

MC was able to go against odds and had to come face his rival only because his lineage and had special demon b

Forget the " D" factor.
All fodders are not from special clans and they die

You are the one wishing Sakura death for not being from a special clan.
Not so special side clan guy sacrifices himself(neji) for the sake of main char and his love who is from main clan(hina)

Neji was special and did you just cook up his love story for Hinata?
If you thought Neji was not special and become powerful think again what happened in the end.

Yea at the end you made up a story of his love for Hinata.
One female character is dangerously submissive and everything that goes against self respecting lady, also she does not belong to any nobility and struggles to catch up with her team mates

She is a better medic than Ino ( who is from a special clan).
Sentient beings/ beats can think for them selves but are still human slaves

You skipped the manga ending I suppose.
Stereotypes black people(black zetsu steals and is cunning)

And Blackbeard is not evil at all nor Usoop representing whole continent ( in Oda;s word as they fit in) was stereotyping)
Fat acceptance(I dont consider that progressive)

Fat acceptance lol he was lectured on weight control by a dying Azuma. Does it irks you much that Oda Picked Choji's fighting move for Luffy and Luffy can eat a lot and burn calories while fighting in somewhat similar way?

Just like many other anime/manga Naruto shows aspects of japanese mindset or whatever their fetish is like blonde and hair blue eyes=superior, you cant become successful if you are not noble clan, asian kid is smart and edgy. blonde hair blue eyes girl wearing slutty clothes.

If Ino's clthing is slutty what about OP girls who only own bras ?

You know what- OP is fun. But fanboys double standards and hypocrisy is not.

I am not talking about quirks. I am referring to purpose of introduction to slavery. While OP demonstrates how sever and multidimensional racist issues can be it fits OP because of the type of the story- it deals with discrimination of different classes and racism of nobles and what not. But Naruto is tackling a different issue i.e. how our pasts shapes our present choices and way of thinking and that only after embracing our past and letting go of the hate we can move forward. So comparing who detailed which theme more like this is kind of meaningless.

OP always introduces big arcs episodes. Naruto has a somewhat a minimalist approach where instead of spreading the issue to a lot of insignificant unforgettable characters he expresses the issue through a fewer but impact characters.
Moving forward from one's past, is not a big progressive theme. that's just a life lesson you should have already learned. I'll make a quick list. Feel free to add.

Naruto's themes:
Hold friendships no matter what because they are special.
One can change their ways.
Unity is possible through mutual understanding and cooperation.
The collective is more important than the individual while at the same time not forcing it upon them.

Naruto's unintentional themes.
Everything is preordained.
Only the special matter.
Criminals get off easy if they do one good act.

How Naruto affected our world:
be a good friend and talk things out

One Peice themes
Self-actualization is important and taught to the audience to be important.
No matter how different you appear, you are a person.
Everyone has the right to be free ----what is a pirate? and person who is free, right?----
Everyone is an individual.
Friendship is important and necessary to survive.
Men can show emotions to the world. the guys cry more than the girls.
The old days are over, let the new age begin. <---------
Even a world authority needs to be checked

One Piece unintentional themes/topics
Girls look over sexualized. nami, robin, almost every girl. "but why is that bad? think about that. they are pirates and/or live in a pirate era"
Girls need to be saved.
brute force is the only way to beat the bad guys
some characters fit racial/stereotypical art styles
a few sexist jokes

How One Piece affected our world: or at least tries to.
Demonstrate different humans, giants, fishpeople, minks are living, thinking "people"
Question authority.
Gender and apparently your biological *** can be chosen
Slavery is bad
being an as***ole is bad
Taking others for granted leads to a loss ------> Donflamingo<-----
Follow what drives your passion
Protect others ---- some marines do this too------
Help those who ask for help.

So is Naruto the most progressive mainstream manga? it really only has one thing going on, if every person is good, the community is good...

You are being biased as hell and making the list to confirm those biases- repeating a few bits in different terms and trying to pose the negatives as positives.

Naruto is not that loud but it covers most tropes you listed as plus, just differently.

I will reply tomorrow if I get time and if the thread hasn't totally gone to hell by then.

Again, feel free to add anything. I wanted a discussion. After the list is complete, we can see which one is the most progressive.

There really is no reason to get into a pointless argument here with you on this. One Piece is factually one of the most inclusive mangas out there, nearly every skin colour, height, size, sexual orientation, social stature is touched upon in this manga, and to top it off its themes are heavily focused on systematic discrimination, slavery, and much much more, so it's not like it simply glosses over most these things.

There's no need to dive in further than that.

Killer Bee raps. The Raikages are the least analytical and most straightforward physical fighters (athletic). Omoi and them wear Hoodies ffs, look at character design, the rest of the Kages look formal and then you have Darui and omoi with Hoodies. I love their designs but that is every stereotype put into one village.

Usopp was stated to be African by Oda.

It made some strides but wouldn't call it the most progressive
