The only explanation to Indra's hatred

As a Sharingan user he would've loved Ashura just as much as Itachi and Madara loved their siblings so the only way Indra could've hated Ashura is if his younger bro killed someone he loved like how Sasuke hated Itachi after the death of his parents.

I think the timeline went like this :

> Ashura is born, Indra is full of positive emotion and awakens 3T Sharingan after forming a new bond

> Their mother dies from giving birth, Indra awakens MS after losing his oldest bond

> After awakening MS he starts to develop feelings of resentment towards Ashura like Cersei does Tyrion

> Later in the future BZ uses those feelings and combined with not being chosen as the successor Indra snaps


So basically Indra wanted to kill Ashura because in his eyes his mother's love and his life long dream were both taken away from him by his brother. Awakening the Mangekyo led to him to develop hatred for someone he would've loved as much as Itachi does Sasuke.

Nice fanfic, the reason he hated ashura was the reason we gfot in the manga, point blank period, he was jealous over ashura being picked over him, and he had black zetsu whispering in his ear.

No, it just Indra was angry about the fact that his birthright was stolen for him, because Ashura believed friendship and love was the way to creating true peace. Hagoromo decided to give Ashura all the power and even stated that he gave Ashura more attention than he did. On top of that, he showed favoritism towards his youngest son and showing favoritism to a child while turning your back on the other can mess up things.

Hagoromo gave Ashura the power and gave Indra nothing, but an order to obey his brother. That was a great insult to him.
