Soul Thrust:
Strength's:
-No usage limitation and a great counter attack after dodging an opponent's attack in the middle of cqc battle.
-Useful if you want to repel the enemy and keep them away from you at a certain distance. Can break through at least B-rank earth before dissipating.
Weaknesses:
-Since its lightning, it is vulnerable to wind based tai. It could at least cancel with D-rank wind though.
-The range, but it isn't really an issue for someone like me who fights up close....Or rather I just don't give a damn if it puts me in danger.
Dragon Claw:
Strength's:
-There isn't a number of times this can be used.
-The jutsu can fight on par with elements of the same rank and I can use it for cqc even if I lose one of my arms. Kinda reminds of Velvet's daemon arm.
Weaknesses:
-One would say range is a problem, but that's because they find cqc uncomfortable and can't adapt. Sure its annoying when your opponent keeps you at bay and don't let you get near, but don't give up.
-That it is visible, but I don't think it should matter. Why hide your attack? We're fighting after all. I guess a weakness would that anything above B-rank overpowers the claw and destroys it and possibly the user/their arm.

Don't forget you could also use this in a creative manner as well for example if you for some reason land on your hands in cqc then you could use the propulsion part of this technique to launch you into the air to dodge some of the opponents techniques but just be sure that it is reasonable of course. After all most techniques power come from the user's creativeness not the rank.
But you are right on strengths and weaknesses for the most part. You can always alter the shape of your hand to have varying effect as in you could perform the technique on a flattened hand and use it to cut apart a D-rank crescent of wind for example. It shouldn't be considered to far from the original description that they can refute it. Just my opinion.
Dragon Claw
Everything is right just wanted to say two things. First the technique will essentially shatter or the chakra around the user's arm will disappear but the arm will be safe and intact. Second it's from DAI(Dragon Age Inquisition) The Reaver class for multiplayer or specialty for story mode.
Either way you have successfully learned both of these techniques, enjoy them.

You're right about the creative part and agree with your opinion. I shouldn't be afraid of using it in way that's not written in the description as long as its reasonable and I can picture it mentally. Hell if it has a tai aspect to it, you're encouraged to perform it irl to see how it looks like and the result (Provided you don't hurt yourself doing it lol Like if there is landing involved you should have a mat or something to cushion you.)

Alternatively, the user can choose to have the scroll shoot/rain down four smaller sized versions of the statue to crush multiple targets rather than a single or large target, display it as a treasured item to draw targets in, especially if the target (s) has a greedy personality and is entranced with treasure or unravel it and summon the statue in front of them to block attacks of the same rank.
Restriction:
- Can be used three times per battle.
-Can only be taught by fang.

Yeah, this is the right one but I do think I understand it pretty well. It's a giant cat statue that relies on the weight and sturdiness of the material to block the incoming techniques. Now sadly I can't really think of this having to many creative uses but that doesn't make it useless ergo why I wanted to learn it.
Anyway I will vm when I create the summon so we can reuse this thread.
