Naruto and One Piece are alot better than Fairy Tail

What does being #1 do here?I am saying that it would have more fans if the character designs and powers were more neat.Its still below Naruto,DBZ and AoT in America.I am talking about a stuff that would benefit OP more.Being No. 1 does not mean everything here.

Looking at popularity of One Piece in America is like looking at American Football popularity in Saudi Arabia. It is damn near irrelevant because the numbers of sales overall of manga are so low.

The second largest manga market outside of Japan is France, and One Piece dominates Naruto there.

More fans are always good.Like I said OP has excellent world building and a great story filled with excellently developed characters but many miss it bcoz they get turned off by ridiculous powers and character designs.

I am not just talking about Manga here.Naruto has merchandise and games as well.Popularity in manga means popularity in other mediums too if the other mediums are handled well.DBZ and Naruto games are a lot more profitable than OP games.

You're critiquing a show on its very foundation, that makes zero sense. Who knows if One Piece would be as popular as it is, if it wasn't made the way you say is an "issue".

I dont really understand the denial here.Its quite common complain in forums and internet about OP that its art is childish and goofy.Why shouldnt that be considered an issue here?There are other problems like slow pacing too but this too is a problem.Like I said look at the popular characters of OP.All of them have good character design and good powers.Nobody will say Gecko Moriah is their fav character.Well drawn character designs are also an integral part of the manga.

None of this takes anything away from my last post. You're critiquing a show based on its foundation. Take away a shows foundation and we don't even know if it remains to be popular let alone the #1 selling.

I gave an example of how the popular characters in op have good character designs and good powers. I cant say for sure that Op would be more popular or less without its wacky substance but I for one feel that it would be able reach much more.

Big flaws with DBZ is that that dragonballs exist, Cell's design is stupid, the SSJ design is stupid, the over the top energy crap & the heroes always win. This is the same kind of reason you are using to downplay OP.

I am not really down grading OP here.If you are able to take your fanboys goggles off then you too will be able to see the wrongs with OP.Like I said I love OP and I want my friends to get into it too.A very few got into it and continued to watch it but many dropped it for the reasons that I have already mentioned.And its not just my friends but I have seen many complains on internet regarding the art issue.I think its as big of an issue as slow pacing in OP.And I am not wrong about Gecko Moriah either.From shichbukais he is the least popular and people dont really care about him either.His Island and powers were pretty cool but his design is one of the biggest reason why nobody likes him.Croc,Mihawk,Hancock,Doflamingo and even Buggy are much more interesting and popular than him.

You are being childish here.I mean its clear that you are insulting DBZ out of spite and bcoz your fav show got criticised a little.And I am not a big fan of DBZ.I like OP a lot more than DBZ.
