Why Does This Arc Get a Lot Of Hate ?

From what I heard over the past few years, very petty reasons.

1- The villains suck
2- Too many flashbacks
3- No sense of danger
4- No cool characters
5- Not enough good action
6- Expectations were way too high for the first arc of the time skip.

Although fishman island wasnt too bad. There was a battle to showcase the strawhats techniques and the mermaids were hot as fk. Hence the sanji nosebleeds. Also, we got important info regarding the ponogplyh and found out a ancient weapon, poseidon. Aka princess shirahoshi.

Overall pretty good but not better than marienford lol.
