Garp the Hero, Firefist Ace, Sabo Those are pretty much badass teachers to me. Red foot Zeff was such a badass that your saw how Pre time skip Sanji was.

Ace and Sabo weren't Luffy's teachers. Garp also wasn't a teacher, as his method of training was simply punch Luffy and then throw him in the jungle. Luffy's strength, until Rayleigh, was always built on him teaching himself.

What did he teach him? Because Luffy spent his time developing his fruit independent of Ace, who thought it was stupid. Not to mention that even if Ace was his teacher, he was just some kid who had no formal training of his own, so it's not like he could actually teach Luffy the way Zoro's dojo and Zeff can teach.

You have a point. Sanji is actually a badass its just that people keep comparing him to Zoro and the fact that Oda has been running around casually handing Sanji L's after L's whereas Zoro is pretty much superman at this point...unbeatable, untouchable and "overpowered". What people dont see is that Sanji's L's are usually taken from people that are much stronger than both Zoro & Sanji whereas Zoro is rapestomping guys that arent really all that. I mean Sanji getting shitstomped by DD was bad? Law is a level above Sanji and even he was getting manhandled by DD 1v1 same applies to Luffy until he pulled out G4.

I mean Hody jones, Pica... you cant compare them to DD. So yes, Sanji is catching L's but it doesn't mean he's trash or not badass. He's simply catching the L's that Zoro is ducking Lol but right now Sanji is getting back to his old badass self (pre-ts).
