Hagoromo was always a follower. Some 900 or so yrs before, Hagoromo jumped on Ashura's wave first. Naruto's was just the latest. Hate to burst your bubble, but Hagoromo riding somebody's wave isn't a big deal, nor was it anything new.

Naruto is the first to do things differently, even ashura killed indra whilst Naruto absolutely refused to do so.

Well lets see, he only empowered Naruto and sasuke, revived the previous gokage and idk summoned Team 7 and bijuu from kaguya's dimension.

No. It was Sasuke who overcome his hate and broke the cycle. All Indra trans-migrants were more or less same as Naruto.

How did he treat indra like crap? if anything he probably like indra for being a prodigy, its not ashuras fault it took him awhile to awaken his own powers. He liked asuras's ideals better because indra was a hate driven psychopath thats suicide giving him the reigns to ninshu his decision was the best one for the time

Its surface area is 14.6 million square miles, and it sure as hell wasn't made by talking.

Hagoromo give nearly all of his chakra to Naruto and Sasuke, then he called some dead spirit to help him with greatest possible summoning in history.
Its not his fault that Indra was already manipulated by Zetsu, after all Zetsu made all Uchiha follow what he wanted them. And that is why Naruto is most as Ashura, father which have too good ideals to see real world, without talent at the start (Because if Hashirama did not have talent he would be dead) and later grow thanks to his bonds. And Sasuke was so much like a Indra,natural born genius, manipulated by someone else. In the end Hagoromo realized his mistakes and maybe that was part which saved Sasuke from doing some killing crazy stuff.
