Are you judging One Piece solely by its art? Because honestly, Fairy Tail is not that impressive in that department eithe, especially when you put it side by side with other Shounen. :|
Hey, most of the site thinks your opinion is crap too if we judge it by this thread, but I'm just sayin. I doubt Hiro Mashima's art in Fairy Tail can stand up to the more inspired moments of the likes of Bleach and Naruto, but that doesn't make it a bad manga in any way. Other things do, in my opinion, but that's beside the point.
Obviously this is a Naruto site which would consider my opinion shitty. I see nothing wrong with that.
I've tried Fairy Tail and I read the manga out of curiosity, so I think that qualifies me an opinion in, perhaps not the full thing, but its art style definitely. Plus, the fact that it didn't present almost anything good enough to keep me hooked to the point where I can at least give it some attention after watching the first fifty episodes does speak a lot for how it works as a story.
If you wanna talk art Fairy Tail art shits on One Piece. I don't like art that looks too cartoony. One Piece art is like that. I could careless which other art is better. I enjoy all kinds of anime art. Just not those that look too obvious to cartoony.
I have watched that to. I liked it. Its only 12 episodes so I don't compare it with long running series. Its just not fair.

One Piece's art is definitely the series' weak point, which probably is what prevented it from growing bigger when it has such a ridiculously well written story. The other main problem, definitely not as prominent as the art, is the whole formula it seems follow with certain arcs, what with each member taking on a bad guy and the protagonist taking on the strongest bad guy only for them to go for another island, but that aside I can't really think of any big flaws of One Piece. Which is definitely more than I can say for any long running series like Naruto and Bleach.
Well, I was talking about the manga, which is well past its 100's which should give the anime a bit over three seasons worth of content alone...but fair point.
