Do you guys agree with the toph vs gaara vid??

I didn't just see this it's just something that always bothered me..
Personally I don't because of a plethora of reasons

1. Gaara's mom put her will in the sand (and don't even tell me this isn't possible after that shit that was pulled against pein) so logically speaking she should not be able bend something that's inhabited by a spirit. And not to mention the saturated infused chakra it created over the years. she should however be able to bend the regular sand that gaara summons as it's fresh sand)
2. He didn't use sand sensing... which he would do if he couldn't see an opponent.... had he done that she wouldn't have snuck up behind him
3. The nardo vers is fast af.... he should be able to react to anything faster then. Toph period..
4. In addition to point one gaara's guard sand will protect gaara from anything .. we have seen him be protected when he couldn't see (referring multiple Susanne situation) (and when he tried to cut himself)
5. In addition to point two reason gaara was not fighting in char he usually would throw large scale attacks all day not this baby sand bullets (he only does that if when in combination with something else or he uses bigger variants)/he did not use his full moveset
6. Tophs limit seems to be smaller then gaara's limit..


What are you opinions of the matter

I like Toph more as a character, "she is so cute and goes really well with Aang." But when it comes to batteru, I think most likely than not a draw. Of course, not considering the 1-tail as it would be a one-sided battle in favor of Gara.

Examples:
1. She destroyed the Dai lee's gloves while it was in the air.
2. In the earth rumble match, when that masked guy launched himself in the air and threw rocks at her, she caught them and threw them back.
But I guess this doesn't extend to if Gaara's like high up in the air.

Yeah you right she did. But still, she has no armor so if she is seriously hit, impaled,crushed or sealed its over.

Just because she can bend earth doesnt mean earth is inaffective against her. Earth benders fight each other all the time. It never plays out like that because theres a limit to how much they can control. Garra can make a whole desert storm if he wanted.

Garra wins. Especially with Sand Spear.
