So true. I read through most of the posts in this thread.... the sheer unwillingness and attempts to make it seems like rape culture is fabricated by a select few is proof enough that rape culture actually exists.

The fact that so many MEN are dismissing it doesn't prove anything. I see data and statistics being thrown around like this somehow makes it seem like women/femenists are at fault for this problem (and a problem it is) fact of the matter is a huge chunk of rapes go unreported for this very reason (rape culture) MEN refusing to acknowledge a terrible wrong is done to women simply because the guy is an all around "nice fellow" with status or connections.

Even more so when it's a man who's the victim. These almost never go reported because a huge portion of the populace think that men can't be raped. The rape culture does exist. It's like gravity. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.
