In my opinion, abortion must be allowed in cases when a woman gets pregnant because of rape. And that's the only circumstance where I advocate it. A rape-victim can't be forced to carry out a "baby" that starts to exist solely because of a horrid crime. Of course, the way it was created is not the fetus' fault, but again, it is a woman's body and if she doesn't want to carry out that baby because it pretty much becomes a monument of the rape crime, a torment, then so be it.

If a couple (not only the woman) is too stupid to use contraceptives, then it's their own fault and they have to deal with it. In that case abortion should be illegal. If you can't take the responsibility and can't be careful enough (which isn't that hard, since there is even a thing called "morning-after pill"), then don't have ***, simple.

You can't try to rationalize when it's ok to do abortion, that's like saying it's ok to abuse a child untill they become 10 years old(arbitrary number), it's still the same person, things don't automatically change because of a milestone put there by others.

I don't really see how the two correlate, considering that child is a full fledged human being, developed, breathing and is capable of thought/emotions/etc, while what we're talking about is a chunk of developing cells. But you know....go off.

I am who I am regardless of whether I'm a 100 years old, 200 years old, 20 years old, a few months or still in the womb, I'm just in a different stage of development, that's the only difference.

You can't decide a certain time where a person isn't a person. However, if you do then the same thing applies all the time, not just when it's convenient for you.
