(Hyoton: Reitō sapuraizu) Ice Release: Frozen Surprise

Description: The user will string an extra Boar hand seal after any technique that uses a tangible element. This will infuse the released technique with visible ice chakra which, upon impact, will explode into a plethora of icicles, all of which originates from the original technique. These icicles will explode out of the technique (a medium by which this surprise ice attack travels) once it crashes with an opposing force. Additionally, these icicles are generally five meters in length, capable of stabbing and impaling anything within the short-range perimeter of when the medium impacts an opposing force and activates the technique. This can also be applied to normal stuff such as kunais, but its main use is with an explosive tag where the explosion will act as a catalyst for the ice chakra to be activated and release the spikes, but due to the explosive nature of the tag, the spikes will explode outwards into smaller and more dangerous fragments of ice. The chakra can also be divided up, depending on the amount of projectiles the user wishes to infuse. This of course divides up the power equally as well.
Notes:
- Can only be used 4x, with a two turn cooldown between each usage
- Only teacheable by Edward
- The user can perform the Snake hand seal to activate the technique before impact, however, doing so would cause the medium to become destroyed, causing the technique to only do B-rank in damage, not +20 damage.

Description: With a single handseal, immediately after using an ice jutsu, the user can coat the ice jutsu with a layer of wind, that will protect the ice from lighting attacks and prevent it from shattering. In order to successfully perform it, the user must train the handseal and be able to string it with the handseals of the ice jutsu, so that it seems like it's only one sequence of handseals. With the wind layer, ice can finally fight with lighting at the same rank. Since the wind is covering the ice, it still has the double advantage against water, meaning that is still can freeze it due to the low temperature, but it becomes weaker to fire attacks because the fire would use the wind coating as fuel to burn the ice quicker and before the melted water manages to evaporate the fire.
Note: The rank of Wind itself would be A at maximum potential

Ok, since lightning is a nuisance against us Ice users here's a way how to prevent them. Basically, after you use an ice jutsu you coat the ice technique with a layer of wind that will cancel out the lightning before it manages to shatter the ice. The wind is A rank meaning that it can protect the ice from S rank lightning. Once the lightning fails, the ice technique continues with its intended purpose. However, this raises a problem against fire techniques because it melts easier. Pro tip, use an ice jutsu in your first turn and wait for your opponent to slip. Make something that forms around him and once he does the lightning make a new move saying that you string your handseals into one sequence in order to protect the ice as it's forming. GGWP
