What exactly did Sasuke useful against Kaguya

Like really, most time he was there standing or taking hits. Hell Sakura did more damage to her then Sasuke. They could just cut Sasuke hand at the beginning and throw her after Kaguya. It would be probably same.

Well,It was a fight between Goddess(Kaguya) and a Beast (Naruto). I can't blame Puny (Sasuke). He had no place in that Godly fight.

aside from getting them out of the ice, he mostly just bought time. Naruto was the main lead in the fight tbh, and he proved useful at the end to seal her away, but sasuke was outshined by naruto obito and kakashi
