Gentle Fist destroys chakra and chakra based substances and Gaara before SRA could only make use of the sand in his gourd, which is chakra infused. SRA Neji is faster than Lee and Sasuke so evading and outright outspeeding Sand isn't an issue. The dome is eventually broken through using Gentle Fist and then Gaara himself is killed.

Unless Shukaku comes out that is.

Simply look at their databook scores.

Databook scores also refer to reflexes, where Neji excels in. FT posted something that stated that the speed in databook is for "swiftness of movement" and "reactions" or someting like that.

Databook does not imply that Neji's sunshin would be better than Sasuke's or Lee's

Neji is not faster than Lee or Sasuke movement wise and people need to no how jyuken works He not dropping Gaara's sand with it.
