Why doesn't Naruto throw his Rasengan?

and i don't think throwing Rasengan is a good idea too =X

Because he can't. He can't throw his Rasenshuriken either, only if he's in Sage Mode and even then it's a small miracle as Ma was surprised he could throw such dense-spinning chakra.

Maybe it's possible he can throw it in Sage Mode, but I doubt it. Rasenshuriken is a wind-type jutsu + it pretty much has the form ideal for a throwing object, if a Rasengan would be thrown, it would just disappear.

When Naruto creates and throws the Rasen-shurikan, the Rasengan stilll holds it's shape. I still think he should be able to throw the Rasengan.

Thats because that type of rasengan is held in a Shuriken like chakra...

yes, the episode naruto actually used a damaging resangan for the 1st time i think was against kabuto and even tsunade was suprised tro see it, be he mentioned as he formed it that you must TRULY HOLD it to control it, or it just goes away like the 1st time he tries the shuri-res...

What Naruto can throw the Rasenshuriken.....In Sage Mode....No Problemo.....Now a regular Rasengan....Not so lucky!
