The only book I've read was Kakashi's. Not going to lie, I thought Kakashi was going to be completely useless without his Sharingan... as it turns out I was correct, but damn was it an interesting and fun read. I cannot wait for Kakashi's novel to be adapted - and though I never read Sasuke's I also cannot wait for his to be adapted as Sasuke is currently in desperate need of some character development time.

As for the others, if the quality is anything like Kakashi's novel then I will happily watch them all.

Kakashi's novel isn't going to be animated , Konoha Shinden Shikamaru shinden and Sasuke Shinden are the ones that are going to be animated

Could have sworn that I read all of the light novels were being adapted. Oh well, maybe they'll adapt the rest as movies someday. My only concern with the anime adaptations are that they will try and fluff up the material with filler or for some reason try and cut scenes out. I never read the Itachi novels so I can't speak to how accurate they were, but there were moments that felt a little out of touch which made me question just how faithful that arc was to the two Itachi novels.

Not very long. There are four chapters, maybe one episode for each chapter?

But I didn't finish it because it was partially translated at the time. Don't know if they have finished the translation.

Really, it was that short? I'm surprised, and honestly a little disappointed. Unless those were some long chapters, that doesn't seem like a very fulfilling story. Let alone a fulfilling character arc for Sasuke.

*Edit* I looked into it, and it's a little over 200 pages, so they are just long chapters. That relieves me. In terms of how long it'll be, my best guess is that each novel will become its own arc like Itachi's was. In other words, each book will be translated into roughly 6-12 episodes each... Itachi's was I believe 12 episodes but then again he did have two books.... greedy bastard.
