Moments that lived up to the hype

Just read a post about disappointingly hyped characters. But what did live up to the hype? I find this more interesting because these moments and encounters were probably one of the best. So what characters or moments were hyped to death and then delivered big time?

Itachi
First hype: We hear him in Sasukes head as a threatening presence. However a threat to a kid doesn't have to mean anything.
Second hype: Orochimaru (The most powerful shinobi at the time) openly admits that Itachi is stronger than him. Holy shit now the hype is on.

Delivery: Itachi completely skull****s Kakashi and the other jounin


Itachi vs sasuke

The hype: Doesn't require that much explanation. It was hyped starting from episode 3 (issue 2 I guess). And with the combined hype of Itachi and Sasuke (that we didn't know the full power of) it was sure to be one of the most hyped things in Naruto

Delivery: And what a fight. Probably my favorite fight ever in Naruto tied with Naruto vs Pain. That genjutsu fight in the beginning alone is better than 90% of all Naruto fights.

I loved how Kishi reclaimed the first Hype of the 8 Gates, that it makes you surpass "a Hokage", since the power Level went so high he had to edit that statement and it suddenly makes you surpass all 5 Kages at the Same time XD

When Itachi said Madara was an invencible immortal. And the 5 Nations were scared of him.
He did justice to his character when he dropped a meteor from the sky.

Eight Gate went above and beyond what everyone thought it would be though.

Itachi is still overhyped anyway.

Hashirama by the way also exceeded the hype put to him.

Hashirama didn't have that much hype. Not to me at least. But yeah he surpassed any hype you could ever have by far

Madara definitely lived up to his hype. He wrecked the SA and toyed with the 5 kage.

I can go on about more but I don't feel like typing all of it.

Oh my bad. I guess I forgot. But still pretty late in the series. I mean throughout the series everyone talked about the fourth hokage. "I wish the fourth was here", "He was the most gifted student ever" and so on. Hashirama, not as much

I agree on the Itachi vs Sasuke one... Seeing Sasuke train all those years, fighting strong opponents like Orochimaru and Deidara. Seeing Sasuke grow that much just to take down his brother... (and we knew how strong this n*gga Itachi was) ah! The hype was in the air... and when it was delivered.... just

I believe the Uzumaki Chain Technique actually requires Uzumaki Chakra to activate :|

Well, they only activate under certain circumstances such as the strong desire to help the ones you love.
And it was only shown to happen when female Uzumaki Member were pushed to their edge.

So it's either a technique for female Uzumakis or Uzumaki's in general.
