That's not how KKG work. Wood Style just naturally is a combination of them. Yamato's explanation was incomplete at best.

Madara binded him with mokuton. He may effect woodstyle but using it is something else.. Mokuton is what Hashi used to subdue the tail beast so Naruto wouldn't be a good host for that because he's a jin an it takes alot out of him..

Though it could probably be argued that being a perfect Jin sage an having mokuton could cancel each other out an let him use it freely but I won't do Kishi's job for him to try an prove this..

They both have Hagoromos Yin and Yang, but Naruto has Ashura's Yang in addition (Hagoromo's chakra + Ashura's body) while Sasuke has Indra Yin on top of that (Hagoromos chakra + Indra's eyes)
