Jiraiya start out in sage mode (All toads are available to summon)

V.S

Gaara (Same as when he fought Deidera. Still a Jinchuriki)

Fight takes place where Naruto fought the third Raikage

Basic intel for each side

Start out 200 yards apart

Fight to the death

This is a great match-up. Finally bruh.

Gaara takes though, but this is definitely high-extreme diff. J-man is no joke, especially with toad summons. Sound Genjutsu is broken thanks to Shukaku's presence. Toads are made quick work out of due to swift sand coffins to limbs - Fatal damage has shown to cause summoning animals to disperse; Gamabunta stated he would've died/dispersed from Shukaku's wind bullets which aren't as lethal as losing a limb through liquidation.

The location is an advantage to Gaara, so that actually lessens it to high diff, rather than extreme. Also, to note if anyone attempts to try, and counter sand by using: Oil, or Oil + Water. This won't work; Oil will simply clump the sand up, nothing more. Oil + Water cannot be infused. Ever. Gengetsu is a unique case, as explained in the manga.

Then attempting to use water vs sand arguments, those are pointless seeing as Gaara has a whole desert at his disposal, and the toads (as I stated above) would've already been fatally injured, dispersing.

Jiraiya has nothing to combat Gaara when all is said, and done. Definitely will emit pressure though with the toad summons.

Is Gaara going to be able to stop a Shunshin blitz from

Even if his initial sand is able to react to it, I don't think it's going to tank.

Gaara is 200m away from Jiraiya at the start. He's already aerial, and amassed a Sand Tsunami the size of Kisame's water dome, or greater. He's not being touched by Jiraiya.

This won't be easy for Gaara, even with the favorable distance.

. This attack (even without senjutsu chakra) covered enough area to force Manda to go underground instead of slithering away...SM further amplifies it's power and range. Defending against this is going be very taxing on Gaara's reserves.

Jiraiya only needs to create an opening for Ma & Pa to use Frog Song, which is sound based and bypasses his sand defense.

Jiraiya wins mid diff. Shukaku ain't shit and lost to Naruto and Gama in part one. This is just basically that fight all over again with Gaaras opponent having a bigger array of jutsu to his disposal and he has oil along with his toads to make Gaaras sand useless.

There is nothing called water + oil or oily water element, as the two components don't mix in any way and the manga used the singular term ''oil'' to describe Gengetsu. Jiraiya's oil should still work, and he has huge deposits of it. That along with deadly versatility, boss backup and fire-power to overwhelm anything Gaara. The only way for Gaara to win is, if you give him hypothetical feat of hosting Shukaku and can use TBB, then he wins.

Only problem is if gaara goes aerial. Can boss summons jump high enough to bring him down? I don't think gaara can go too high otherwise he would have flown above madara's susano's and carried the kages as well. So gaara stays within the jumping range then jiraya should win this. Jiraya is overall superior shinobi.

Terrible logic Gaara did not attempt to fly against Madara but those toads jump insanely high so they would catch him either way, honestly i don't know how Gaara could bring the frogs down there literally his only problem.

Couldn't sand coffins on the frogs limbs take them out. or could he trap him. Location is favorable to him right?
