Define death, please. Because death is natural to StrawHats. Only they would be dead when their dreams die. When All Blue turns out to be a lie, that moment, Sanji would be dead. The same goes to everyone in StrawHats.

Idk, I'm sure someone else will die eventually but probably not for awhile. Does anyone else notice a pattern of a manga being grittier(not shying away from "violent" scenes) early on, to tone down after it's popularity grows? One Piece shot a guy in the head chapter 1, rarely does anyone die now and when it seems like they did they come back 300 chapters later. Naruto, same thing a lot of bodies up to the Chunin exams finished then they drop off in number.

Rumours say Trafalgar Law, and as much as I don't want it to be true, it makes too much sense.

Idk man, yeah it makes sense especially with the reveal of his fruit's ultimate power but if Oda spared CP9 then why not Law?

Because Oda is a good writer, and he would not introduce such a major concept with the fruit and immortality if he were not to utilitze it in some way, shape or form. Its Chekhov's Gun at its finest.

Law is the safest bet right now.

Close enough to Luffy to trigger a huge reaction and the cause is already hinted in the previous arc.

Law has been around since Punk Hazard, he can't be sticking around forever.

Any one in OP or just straw hats?...a straw hat dying unlikely, but my guess would be Robin....no reason...and the next most likelydeath will be shanks

I do agree with what you're saying.. but I've noticed that this arc is actually pretty dark and twisted when you think about it.. we just recently saw BM drain the life out of her own son.. I know its not a bullet to the head, but it is still a death nonetheless.

Look at Sanji's backstory.. and the recent threats made about Zeff.. and how BM handles things in general.

This arc is actually somewhat gritty tbh..

Why are people assuming the only way a character can leave/dissapear is by dying ? (Law)

He could simply leave and continue his own journey after Kaidou is defeated. Isnt that a possibility?

Fair enough say it's used because it has to be used since bringing it up, the question then is "who does he use it on"? I doubt Luffy would allow him to do it so he'd either have to use it on him against his will or in an unconscious state.

Twist theory, he uses it in conjunction with Brook's fruit. Brook by EOS learns how to bring souls back to the Earth Law then uses the eternal life skill on the spirit Brook brings back which just so happens to be Ace.

It seems almost a bit convoluted in that way, not to mention that it ruins an awesome death in the series. It doesn't sound like something Oda would do, not with Ace.

Plus, throughout the series, Luffy constantly has gotten into situations that shorten his lifespan. Ivankov's injections, Gear Second overuse, etc....giving him immortality to negate this out would negate those effects. There really is no other reason for them to be brought up like that, after all, if they are not gonna have any effect. Hell, maybe that's how he eventually dies anyway before being resurrected, but at this point its just assumption,
