Don't see Hinata disagreeing there. The only thing I see is Hinata getting support by a fodder ninja with a boring field. Of course only Sakura fans would wank irrelevant moments like these.
I do and her kids seem very appreciative lol you gotta love Hinata faps!

Keeping their fave from dying is irrelevant XD

Anyway I'm done owning you.

Interesting post. Few questions though.

Neji and Gaara were portrayed as monsters in the CE and of course Naruto beat Neji. So are there any other characters from that stage in part 1 that won't be low diffed by Neji?

Perhaps you can't recollect but that "one of the 6 paths" was Deva path. Surely you're not implying Konohamaru would wreck or even touch Deva?

If it isn't too much, would you also mind explaining the bold? Because I think the OP is referring to adult Hinata not Pre genin Hinata who Kurenai (that gave us the failure flashback memories btw) implies is from CE Prelims Hinata.

This is true...Though I wonder who else at the time won't get low diffed by Neji and who else could defeat a Deva that pushed Kakashi close to his limit before the Akimichi's arrived.
I doubt 5th gate Lee could be neji but he certainly wouldn't be negged.

Basically your argument is that because she fought so far out her weight class in all 2 of her battles that we can't properly gauge her power.somewhat true.

There's no sense really debating it because neither have good feats.at the end of the day all we know is that Hinata has never been portrayed as anything more than ordinary but hanabi was seen as a prodigy and gained more attention from hiashi, theres a scene where the Hinata and hiash are training and he's not impressed.

So it's fact that hanabi was certainly more talented
Than her early on.also, theres no evidence to support that Hinata became anything special.meanwhile hanabi is clan leader now

Hinata=chunnin
Hanabi= clan leader

Why are people calling Hanabi a clan leader even though that on itself was never once shown? It seems more like assumption than fact to me....

Can you bring a scan of the bold? And i certainly hope it's not a part 1 scan?

No evidence to support Hinata became something special? She learns a technique taught only to main members of the hyuga clan and more or less gets praised by Hiashi when he mentioned both she and Neji to Hizashi in the war arc.. DB then goes on to state her talent blooms after Neji's death supporting the DB1 claim in her profile that says something along the lines of her latent potential is conspicuous and she's one to watch out for or so.

Hanabi is clan leader eh? Is there proof of this...I really don't know tbh and wouldn't mind evidence that attests to that fact?

But seriously, saying Hanabi > Hinata based on a comparison of her victory against Pre genin Hinata who we're made to know lacked confidence to do anything is absurd.
It is also seriously implying she defeats Ino too. I dislike Ino but unfortunately that isn't how debates work man. Hanabi is featless. And that is a fact.

It is part one.

I'm actually not sure where the hanabi clan leader thing came from.it might be a novel.hiashi "more or less" decided training Hinata was a waste of time so he made hanabi heir to the clan instead(canon).

So as far as if she's actually clan leader right now let's try to make a timeline

Hiashi is 46 in part II. Naruto the last takes place 2 years later(48)

Let's than say she immediately gets pregnant with Boruto (there was most likely another gap of a few years). Round 9 months to a year (49)

Boruto is 12 in his self titled movie (62)

So logically he's probably not clan leader anymore

Moving on

I just said both of them are featless

@Underlined is very very true. But you know what else is implied in part 1 that is Canon? Branch members don't train with the main branch family and we know by part 2 that Hiashi trains with Neji now.
Just because it was established then doesn't mean it couldn't have been changed.

- Your analysis is okay too and I would have agreed with it if Ohnoki wasn't still Tsuchikage at the age of 79 in Shippuden.

- Hinata is as featless as Hanabi? Sorry..But the bold is bs.

Wait what? Are you saying they could have made Hinata heir again? I'm confused on that one.it doesn't make sense to make her heir, take it away and then give it back

OK you just owned me with that ohnoki bit.fair enough

Haha you got me too I guess...That is indeed what I'm trying to imply but maybe it's just my favoritism setting in..
However I do see it as a plausible scenario because

- We know she was kicked out in part 1 but learning twin lion fists shows she's back in.

- Hiashi's statement very much implies the branch-main house stuff is still a thing..And we know for sure Hinata is first and still a main branch member (learning twin lion fists) leaving Hanabi a branch member.

But yeah that's obviously still speculation on my part and not that it matters anyway.
In the Boruto one shot Hinata does get praise as a master of Gentle fist iirc..Hanabi doesn't have recognition on that level.

Confused again.hanabi is main house not branch.shes still technically the heir and honestly I'm not too sure how the family works but I was under the impression the main house breeds and the youngest become branch( like how hiashi is main due to age and hazashi is side)

Hanabi broke the cycle of age by becoming the heir so I'm not sure if that would make Hinata branch

She's still technically the heir based on what exactly? Her abilities? I doubt it seeing as Neji was training with Hiashi but still wasn't chosen as the Heir. It's basically first child = main Subsequent = branch.

We know Hinata was kicked out but twin Lions in her arsenal proves she's back in and considered Main branch...Hanabi came after Hinata so logically she's branch.

But a lot of people seem to hold the opinion Hanabi is the Heir though..Perhaps they've seen a scan/databook page I haven't seen yet (as I was off anything anime related for major parts of the last year)..so don't take my word for it...I just wish they post the scan or page though so I can stop with the speculating. xD
