So while Naruto is making the rasengan and kuramas sleeping,theres no reason Sasuke couldn't have just genjutsu him.naruto has never broken genjutsu once and we've since solo finger low dif him

No, he could not use genjutsu against Naruto, because Sasuke used every bit of chakra he's got in that Chidori, Kurama gave all his chakra to Naruro only after Sasuke already used his all of his chakra
It would've been better if Sasuke didn't use that chidori and just focused on absorbing Naruto's remaining chakra.. I think he could've won this way

Kurama gave his chakra to Naruto in order to use his rasengan only after he saw Sasuke putting all of his chakra in chidori, in other words if Sasuke didn't use all of his chakra in chidori first, Naruto also probably woudn't have used all of his chakra in a rasengan!

'author intended' can be a loose excuse here. What if one author gives his characters godly powerup and 1001 abilities but most of their battle just center on taijutsu battle with scant of godly attacks in between until the end, would you take author writing for granted still?

Sasuke used his remaining chakra in his chidorikagatsugi combo and probably didnt even know that Kurama went to sleep.

Naruto never went for a kill in the whole fight.
That is way bigger of a nerf than anything you make up for Sasuke, who tryed to kill Naruto.

And how is using all the bijou into a Susanoo a nerf in the overall fight for Sasuke?
If anything with that counted, Sasuke was buffed overall in that fight. That weighs up way higher than any possible nerf you can bring in.
Naruto only had a tiny bit of 8 of the bijou, which is in him willingly.

It was a battle of wills between Naruto and Sasuke and Naruto won that fight, because they both ended up immobile and Naruto changed Sasuke's heart again.
They are equals now battlewise. They are yin and yang.
Thats just how it is.

Not necessarily but sasuke and naruto being intended to be equal has been known forever, why is it such a surprise that's how it ended up? He could of full blown wrote an ass whooping for sasuke or naruto but he's always intended them to be equal so there's really no surprise on how it turned out. He even made it so they both ended up in the same physical condition, equally. It would be different and I would agree with you if this equal sh t came out of nowhere for vote2 only but that's not the case

If we assume he did indeed take "8.5 bijuu" and he was able to completely exhaust ALL of there power just just susanno and Indra arrows those attacks probably would have been a lot more world breaking.

Naruto only had half kurama,if even that.if Sasuke had all the bijuu,plus the other half of kyuubi all in that Indra arrow there's no logical way it would have been countered.

Sasuke only took their chakra.
Naruto cooperated with one, who could gather nature energy.
Naruto his attack was also a lot stronger in design as Naruto can use the highest form of shape manipulation (rasengan) + add nature change to it and he used two of them.
Whereas Sasuke his attack didnt have the highest form of shape manipulation.

Its not weird how the attacks clashed.
