Pros:

- Thoroughly well-animated.
- Artwork was pretty good at its peak, if not to my taste though.
- Some really nice visuals.
- A great recap.

Cons:

- Some added gunk about Sasuke being a rejected outcast too, when that was never the case.
- Artwork fell in places.

4/5

While lacking in identity and gracefulness of last week's special, the eccentric exposition and vibrant design of scenes along with highly emotional impact do more than make up for the occasional poor drawing or lack of perspective. As much as I appreciate objectivity, when it comes to such a defining moment in my favourite show ever, I can't and don't want to be anything but subjective.

5/5 easily, an excellent episode!

Absolutely beautiful. They used the death concept very well with this shared space between naruto and Sasuke(mostly sasuke alone) where they could reflect. Same as in the manga, loved the part from sasuke's perspective and obviously the end was on point. This Anime means so much to me and this along with the special from last week really put a bow on the series in the best way possible. (Even better then the manga imo) I'm so grateful for naruto and will forever appreciate the impact it's had in my life.

5/5. So glad to see SP doing the ending of Naruto Shippuden justice. If I didn't read the manga, I would've thought Naruto and Sasuke died. So many feels, can't believe that I actually liked the recap scenes in that one part that showed Iruka taking the hit for Naruto, then that Haku & Zabuza, Naruto vs Gaara, all the way up to the war arc. Amazing episode. Amazing animation too.

Will we see the IT being released next episode?
Yes. The preview shows Naruto back in the village with bandages from the fight. Along with other characters.

Disappointing artwork at times. I'm sure people who don't read the manga were pleased with the episode.

Sasuke seeing Naruto's memories was weird - especially because none of them were about Sasuke. Have I been reading the wrong manga? 3/5

The memories were basically all about Naruto's statements throughout the series regarding becoming Hokage, and what it meant to him. It highlighted Naruto's bonds with his comrades and the ways in which he found strength and overcame obstacles by working for/with his comrades. The memories were not supposed to be about Sasuke, they were intended to show him who Naruto truly is and where Naruto's strength of character comes from. This is the strength that Sasuke realized he was missing.

All I can say is I can't wait for the next episode....

Also, the manga kind of skipped over how Sasuke managed to not be imprisoned in Konoha due to being a missing nin and all the other stuff he did. Kakashi only briefly mentioned how he managed to convinced them not to go after him or something to that effect. Hope the anime portrays a better explanation as I felt it was too rushed and glossed over lightly.

^ still can't get over, though, that they're trying to get us, the viewers, to believe that Sasuke was "ostracized" for being the last uchiha. Total horsecrap!

He was basically untouchable and treated with velvet gloves(and basically worshipped) by the village. I don't know what possessed the writers(or whomever created this episode) to do this unless they couldn't come up with a possible reason as to why Sasuke would "identify" and decide to "empathize" with Naruto all of a sudden. Still makes no sense, though.
