Nah you trippy af. K.Dot had the better flow in both. FYI its harder to incorporate noteworthy metaphors, and play on words rather than: "This long **** nigguh aint for the long talk, and I beast"
Link me more videos on Drake with his "god flow", and I'll link you K.Dot slaughtering.
Drake spams the 6 God flow in 90% of his tracks since, his flow is definitely not as versatile as Kendrick's. His flow also doesn't float, it's more like he is talking on the track, but his delivery is very clean.
Didn't know that storytelling and rap skills had anything to do with each other. :lol If Kendrick switched up and start rapping about literally nothing, but all the technical aspects of his raps stayed the same would we be saying he became a worse rapper? Don't say yes, because the answer is no.
He most definitely would, literally anyone can rhyme ANYONE yeah its hard but story telling and image conveying is the gift of rap that separates it from the pointless soundcloud rappers who think they're good because they can rhyme sandbox with flocks :lol (don't ask)
Niga take the 5$ earphones out, smh. Kendrick wasn't floating on the beat like Drake was. And lol, I can link you to all types of different Drake flows ranging from soft to trap beats. Ain't nobody has versatile as Drake in this department.
Compare their flow on the same track. Drake flowed better on both, and it wasn't really even close.
Aight answer me this question, can Drake even attempt to spit on complex rhythms like Kendrick? (Answer is no). Can Kendrick match and overtake Drake on today's common rap beats? Absolutely. A crap ton of GKMC was exactly that and that Black Friday song.

Um hell yes. The art of rap started with poetry cleverly rhyming words in a poem like verse while telling a story. That's literally the definition of rap. So if you can't tell a story and you rapping about nothing you are a worse rapper....
I was hoping he wasn't going to bring up Poetic Justice. That's all drake does is rap about women, any other topic and Kendrick would rap circles around him.

Lmao, no and that makes no sense. Your examples don't even correlate. Not being able to rhyme well and not telling a story are two completely different things. You don't need to tell a story to have dope rhymes nor do you need to tell a meaningful story to have dope rhymes. Technical rap skills and subject matter are independent and please do not continue to claim otherwise. By your logic anyone who talks about more meaningful subject matter is automatically a better rapper than people who don't.
@bold: And lmao don't tell me you actually heard an actual song like that.

Are your rap skills worse? No. Overall you may be viewed as a worse rapper but when it comes to your actual technical skills they haven't changed at all. This logic doesn't even make sense to me. So the people who tell more meaningful stories are superior rappers to the people aren't telling stories like that regardless of actual ability?

Lyrically, Drake is not touching Kendrick. Facts, I'm not arguing that. Can Kendrick flow better then Drake? No. He doesn't float on the beat like Drake does, who has done so using complete different flows on different beats as well.

Although he doesn't make tracks like this anymore, so there's that.
You gotta have a balance though imo TPAB was too focused on the art to the point where it took away from the ability to casually listen to it. It's not really an easy album to listen to. If you can make something that's easy to listen to and its complex, then you've got the perfect balance.
For that reason GKMC > TPAB imo.
You have to make something that's pleasing to the ears, we're talking about music afterall. Sometimes Kendrick strays from that, that's one of the only cons I can think of for Kendrick.
I agree with Toshi's con of Kendrick but no one is really pleased to listen to drake sing out a ***** hook after rapping about his wealth and hoes for a whole album :lol
Imagine listening to these and saying Drake can't rap or some shit like that or that Kendrick is more versatile than he is. Though my main point is really the bold.
Drake has received acknowledgement from so many people, fans and not fans and other rappers including your fav. So let's not go there. Why am I even arguing with an established Drake hater on this topic anyway?
"Drake can't rhyme, but I don't even listen to his music to be able to judge that"
