Drake doesn't have better music, nor sound. Drake appeals to the masses, he's an actor. Everything he does is for album sells. The stupid Hotline Bling dance? He knew that would become a meme, and allow him more album sells.

Drake doesn't touch K.Dot in anything except sells.

Lol i agree with you, which is why i put music in between quotation marks.

His delivery not really his flow.

Kendricks flow > Drakes.

Yeah, I was probably thinking of that and cadence instead of flow.

Boy really didn't just say flow. KG stop lmao.

Link me anything Drake has done that beats this.

I actually forgot about this tbh. You guys can have this point then.

Of course Drake has better "Sound" and "music", but if we are talking about pure lyrical ability(which is largely apart of having a flow)then Kendrick is the obvious choice. Drake can't get on a song an rip it like Kendrick can with pure bars and lyrical superiority.

Flow and lyrical ability are not the same. Lyrical ability plays a part in having a flow but that's not even close to being the majority of what makes up flow. You don't even need impressive lyrics to have a good flow you only need lyrics that match up with the beat properly.

Kendrick being able to go in harder than Drake doesn't mean he has better flow than Drake does, but regardless, read above.

:lol So now Drake doing a dance means that everything he does/has done is for album sales? None of what you actually mentioned supports your point to begin with. Drake's music appealing to the masses makes it inferior to Kendrick's? :lol You're gonna have to do better than that. The only things Kendrick will ever objectively beat Drake in musically related is lyrical ability and flow. Not gonna talk about who has better music since musical taste is subjective.

I'm not discrediting Drake at all lol. Yes, Drake knew that shit was going to get him hella sales, he's an entertainer, he appeals to what's going to be lit. That's good bruh bruh, that shows Drake has clarity, that he can predict what's going to make him more money. Not negative in the least.

Drake is more of a pop artist that does Rap, therefore he reaches out to more people, while Kendrick is a full time rapper. As a rapper Kendrick is much better no contest, Drake's songs are catchier and have you going back more though.

Drake also focuses on catchy short phrases or sentences that stick in peoples heads. That along with releasing content 24/7 he remains the center of all talks.

Lmao then why follow up your opinion with all that if you weren't attempting to say that those are the reasons why you believe Kendrick's music is superior? And yes, I agree, of course he knew it was going to get him sales.

But who cares? Let me go back to debating Naruto. Far less subjective. :lol

You mad dumb FT if you think Drake flowed harder than K.Dot in Rigamortis. This is deadass the same way Drake raps everyday. Drake straight monotone. Foh with that shit. God flow. LMAO. Drake hold this L for that.

lol @ Drake

Kendrick best rapper in a terrible game atm, Drakes a cool and funny dude and a great entertainer but his rap skills are questionable.

Loving this thread bahaha.

For real though, Drake can kill some beats with his raps but prefers to play the pop artist. And also his cadence is rather repetitive and unchanging over the years.

Whereas Kendrick be killing the cadence game since Section 80, rapping off beat, synchopated rapping, backbeat rapping and much more inventive subdivisions of rhythm are evident in his raps. Drake don't got that sorry....

Kinda funny how you have to expose yourself to different genres of music in order to fully understand this... Not to mention toe understand how much better the music itself is in Kendrick album. TPAB? JHEEZ.

OT: If Kamui is restricted, Team 2 high diff. If not, Team 1 low-mid diff.

Niga take the 5$ earphones out, smh. Kendrick wasn't floating on the beat like Drake was. And lol, I can link you to all types of different Drake flows ranging from soft to trap beats. Ain't nobody has versatile as Drake in this department.

Compare their flow on the same track. Drake flowed better on both, and it wasn't really even close.

Yuck. I don't even see how that's bearable to listen to. I miss his GKMC and Section 80 sound.

Nah you trippy af. K.Dot had the better flow in both. FYI its harder to incorporate noteworthy metaphors, and play on words rather than: "This long **** nigguh aint for the long talk, and I beast"

Link me more videos on Drake with his "god flow", and I'll link you K.Dot slaughtering.

Didn't know that storytelling and rap skills had anything to do with each other. :lol If Kendrick switched up and start rapping about literally nothing, but all the technical aspects of his raps stayed the same would we be saying he became a worse rapper? Don't say yes, because the answer is no.
