Naruto didn't meet TOneri face to face until he was already in the moon. Sasuke wouldn't be any different, especially when unlike Naruto he has five full villages to look over.
It won't matter because when Sasuke takes care of toneri everything will be fine, Villagers already protected themselves as Naruto didn't contribute to the falling meteorites destruction so it would be the same, except no drama and the battle ends in 3 seconds in which Sasuke either slicing toneri in half room sending his ass to the acid dimension.

1-Teleporting then attacking is vastly different than Attacking
then teleporting the target to the attack like I showed in the scan with Madara who had no way of reacting because the moment he was teleported is the moment he got hit, vastly different than an exhausted Sasuke teleporting behind momo with a kunai and then initiating the attack.
2-It was a part of Sasuke's plan to get hit as Sasuke had previously tagged momo on many occasions which were much slower approaches compared to an ameno blitz, hell his reactions couldn't deal with a 12 year old genin with a kunai :elmo:

CT as both techniques are unrelated nor is it stated that genjutsu is needed, even the data book states that the target becomes the core with no mention of genjutsu at all. That's like saying that handcuffs are necessary to imprison someone inside a cell. :lol
Genjutsu was mearly to prevent any resistance, which won't be the case with momo as the moment he's the CT core, is the moment he gets ripped apart by the Barrage of PS slashes.
Then there's the fact that Momo is quite fast (refer to his initial clash with Naruto and Sasuke for Shunshin speed) and has taken Kinshiki's strength, who has the strength feats superior to any Susanoo minus PS, so stopping a Susanoo blow with one of his weapons would not be completely out of question here.
No, PS slashes would rip him apart just like that one PS slash destroyed his lava golem instantly, he's not surviving a barrage of that chopped the CT Sasuke chopped which has rubble that dwarfs mountain ranges.
