Tank Man one shots yeah.

So Luffy has officially surpassed Doflamingo and Sabo (Though Sabo will appear more stronger the next time we'll see him.)

How would tank man help against Mingo?

It seems tank man combination of haki and luffys rubber body absorbs and can reflect damage back...unless doffy does a direct strike, I don't think tank man would be effective, especially against bird cage like attacks.

Tank man would be useful against sabo physical attacks, but his fire would still probably be effective against Luffy.

I think tankman is strictly defensive, and poundman is his more offensive mode. I believe luffy choose the most effective form to combat doffy, and wouldn't use it vs sabo

This mode seems to be situational, but if Mingo couldn't harm boundman there's no way in hell he's hurting Tankman.

Crackers sword along with Cracker himself was completely absorbed despite the sword going right into his stomach.

If Luffy absorbs Mingo he loses.

This mode is too durable for any of Mingos attacks.

No he does not lose, you're equating Cracker's endurance to Doflamingo's.

Nothing Cracker has done featwise, or portrayal wise has indicated he has Doflamingo's endurance, it seems as though he relies heavily on his puppets for defense and only sneaks in here and there for offense, so I'm inclined to believe Doflamingo is much more of a tank than this guy.

Yeah he is but Cannon ball looks like a strong attack, I would say its second to KKG. If Cannon ball isn't enough he finishes him off with a Kong Organ or KKG.

Tbh we won't ever really know how strong Cannon ball is but Luffy squished Cracker with his Haki pretty much, which no sold 'pretzel'.

This is just my opinion.

@madarareturns & og sama...I believe he can do tankman without eating. I think besides the comedic aspect of the "full version" he used while eating crackers ,biscuits soldiers. it would be similar to a fuusen version with air. I feel luffy waited untill he ate enough biscuits not because he needed the size, but moreover because he needed the energy. His fight had been going on for a very long time, against a tough opponent, he probably didn't have enough energy to perform the defense/counter untill he had enough to eat. Remember luffy has shown that he can metabolize lots of food really fast and recover lost energy quickly, he did it after his second loss to crocodile if memory serves.

I think King Kong gun is more powerful than the tank man attack that cracker took. It is probably about the same as Kong gun and doffy managed to tank that and several others. Doffy had better durability than cracker but that is assuming cracker actually was beat by this attack and not just thrown so far he can't come back in a decent amount of time. The same could have been done to doffy if he didn't have such high mobility.

In any case doffy can rank attacks of that level. Cracker should have stayed in his biscuit armor if he was smart.

luffy's been past doffy since poundman but tankman has now made him capable of damaging top 3 captains of yonkou's ships. BB's crew is a different case.

Both forms specialize in different things, tank man is defense bound man is offense. Neither one is better but bound man is more mobile.

Is that why Luffy was on the ground immobile while Doffy was marching towards him with Awakened threads behind him?

No, it's the reason why Doflamingo was laying on the floor unconsious and defeated while Luffy walks off to challenge bigger and stronger opponents. And last time I checked, Gear four luffy was not on the floor immobilize.

Convenient that you forgot the help of dozens of gladiators and Trafalgar Law.

Doesn't matter. Doflamingo outlasts Luffy in a 1 vs 1, and finishes him off while immobile. Therefore, Doffy>Luffy in a 1 v 1(at least in Dressrosa that is).
