Once again, a simple skill to form the foundations of your medical training: Keksuki Gyouko (Blood Coagulation). It's a fairly simple skill based off some complex mechanics, however it will only take you a single turn to pull off and won't cost you any chakra. It's only a patch-work skill and won't heal anything, only give you time to move the patient or buy them some time while you work on other areas of the patient or even work on other patients. If you want to use this in a purely nurse-like capacity at this stage of your training, nothing is stopping you from doing so in the Hospital or in the Arena/NW.

Your jobs, something that shouldn't be too tough after reading the , is to do the following: Explain how blood coagulation works in your own words and how it relates to narutoverse, chakra and a medical ninja's role.

Homework #3
Coagulation is seemingly a nigh-perpetual metabolic process usually associated with homeostasis. Ordinarily, blood coagulation occurs whenever bodily tissue is ruptured and subsequently, platelets and a particular protein function to ameliorate the damage. Between the two biological resources, fibrin strands result and modify the thickness of the plasma in one's blood. The significance of blood coagulation can hardly be overstated within the NW—people incur damage amid combat and even if the wounds aren't immediately lethal, the resulting hemorrhaging can mean a drawn out death. Insofar as most medical ninja are concerned, their capacity to heal does not encompass the process of coagulation, at least on a whim. In the presence of severe hemorrhaging, there may simply not be enough remaining blood to facilitate blood coagulation at all. Under reasonable circumstances, chakra may be harnessed in such a way as to abnormally hasten the involvement of the aforementioned platelets and proteins in producing fibrin, altering the thickness of blood and thereby enable a proper healing procedure to commence.

Well done. Due to some circumstances, Akasha will be playing catch-up when she is able to... as such, we shall move your training on solo style.

Since the is also blood based, we'll just do the lesson here...

Come back here with any questions on Chishio Tensou no Jutsu (Blood Transfusion Skill) and we will begin the practical aspects of this class... you might get to take some of my blood, you know, revenge style xD

Only question is whether or not the practical is being conducted in lieu of the HW.

To get things moving, we'll skip the practical. Just explain to me what is blood loss, and how it effects us, it'll be better if you try and aim for mainly in the NV.

Hemorrhaging is the phenomenon of blood escaping the circulatory system either naturally via an orifice or via a wound incurred by physical trauma to the body. In general, the body requires a minimum total blood volume. Furthermore, there is a gradation of blood loss symptoms, which are in turn dependent upon the percentage of total blood volume lost over time. Minor blood loss is generally negligible and can potentially involves dizziness, but more moderate blood loss can lead to hypovolemia or exsanguination (death). Ninja invariably risk hemorrhaging since they're often prone to fighting, with at at least party likely to suffer significant damage that can lead to blood loss. Even supposing the ninja is still alive after a conflict whereby moderate to severe hemorrhaging occurs, their prospects at continuing on will begin to dwindle soon thereafter. The role of medical ninja is to facilitate quick recovery and prevent such dim prospects.

Apologies about the delay, I should be fine now. z.z'

Well blood loss is a pretty serious condition which can easily result in death with no adequate approach. Although fractions of blood can be lost when small cuts/wounds are made. The issue with blood loss is when we have the rupture of bigger set of veins, arteries or similar cardio-circulatory system organs. Or even in case when we have internal bleeding. In that case we don't have adequate external signs of blood loss existence. The blood loss affects both the physical and mental consciences.
