This has been on my mind for at least two weeks. Hashirama was a great Hokage, but he was too soft-hearted to deal with the complications of his vision for a peaceful world. Analyzing the story on Konoha's founding and what resulted of some of the dumbest decisions that turned the world into a hell hole, there is one major factor that started it all and that is Tobirama.

To start things off, I believe Tobirama was an excellent Hokage. He didn't take crap from anyone nor the villages, who were trying to muscle him and his brother for the Bijuu. He created the Ninja Rankings, the Chuunin Exams, the Shinobi schooling system. He's a genius. However, there's one problem....

HE RUINED HASHIRAMA'S ALLIANCE WITH THE UCHIHA, BECAUSE OF HIS PARANOIA AND PREJUDICE!

Tobirama stripped the Uchiha of their government rights, kicked them to the outskirts of the village, placed heavy surveillance on them, and treated them as expendables. He only made them Police to spy on them and even built their station inside the prison.

Tobirama ruined everything. the Uchiha wanted peace, but because of his paranoia, everything was ruined and resulted in a bloody massacre.

Madara was right, but Hashirama ignored his warning.

And because of Hashirama's dumb decision for not killing his brother, and with Tobirama committing injustices towards the Uchiha, this gave birth to Tobirama 2.0 aka Danzo, who desired the Sharingan to the point, he wanted all the little children and babies of the Uchiha Clan to be killed in their cribs:

Danzo took Tobirama's racism toward the Uchiha to a whole new extreme and was even responsible for several villains such as Kabuto. In the end, if Hashirama took care of his brother, made sure that the alliance between the Senju and Uchiha stayed strong, kept the Bijuu in Konoha, and made peace with Madara before he left, none of the bad shit that happened in the series had happened.

With the Uchiha and Senju standing strong together, Konoha would've been unstoppable.

I cry everyday because of that, knowing that Madara would have been Hokage, everyone would see the good in him, Itachi wouldn't have to pass through so much pain, Sasuke would have been happy:sniff::sniff::sniff:

Tobirama RUINED EVERYTHING!!! Actually, I think he is a villain just as much as Madara and Obito were.

Damn, Madara is ****ing prodigy. Even if the Uchiha's would have listened to him, they would still have major resentment towards the Leaf because of Tobirama. Removing him out of the equation would have a waterfall effect in NV though, no shadow clone jutsu, no Minato FTG, no edo tensei. It is what it is.

Without Tobirama, Madara would become Hokage, and Madara is a Harbinger of War by nature. With him as the village's leader, I'm pretty sure there would have been far more than just three wars by the start of the series and possibly even fewer villages.

No, Tobirama should've killed Madara that day. If Hashirama hadn't interfered, none of all that happened would've come to pass.

He wasn't paranoid or prejudiced; he saw what happened to Uchihas, including the good-hearted ones like Madara time and time again. Fact, not paranoia. He still did his best to live up to his brother's naive and frankly loony wishes as best he could, so he gave them the police force as a sign of trust.

If he were prejudiced, he wouldn't have Uchiha in his squad and he wouldn't have praised their abilities. Tobirama was the Hokage, he's the one that built Konoha's infrastructure, and he managed to maintain peace within his lifetime. It was Hiruzen and Danzo that caused everything to fall apart.

This. Madara was unstable even without Tobirama's BS. And even so, Tobirama was right to think of the Uchiha as dangerous & saw Madara's collapse years in advance. He handled a lot of things badly, yes. But he was making a fair point when he mentioned the Uchiha's strength grown from anger--which is unstable and dangerous.

Getting rid of his brother for some stranger? Kind of fking logic is that? Also, Tobirama with few reanimations could possibly defeat both Hashirama and Madara "MS".

Whilst Tobirama is the smartest individual in the manga, he was ill-suited, and frankly speaking, very ... very foolish as a policy maker. I have stated time and time again; Tobirama kick-started an effect that found frution during Danzo's reign. Such type of prejudiced policies always expand and escalate over time.

Furthermore, he had a very narrow-minded, hardliner approach towards politics. Any Uchiha that sided with his philosophy was praised and considered a part of Konoha lobby. Anyone who questioned it was viewed as a threat. It is these kinds of policies that create a political rift. He started the onset of the division in the lobbies. That isn't democracy; it's "my way or the high way."

Fact remains, he had little right to ostracize a clan based on a single-minded perspective. Without any Uchihas within the political setup, it makes no sense to question Madara's skeptical stance. He himself gave way to that skepticism. Why not have Uchihas take political positions? Even those that supported him were barred and reduced to Police Force work.

If this is fair-mindedness, then I'll be damned. There never should have been an alliance to create a single village in the first place. He claims of their "unstable" natures, yet Senjus were no innocents as they waged wars just as much and it was a Senju that didn't let the matter rest. And it was, ironically, a Senju that took the first step to restrict a Founding Clan's full right within the village's political setup. It just comes across as idiotic to claim "difference" in stances as anything but "differences."

Now, what is the mature route to solve this matter? Debate amongst the responsible members of both Clans to reach a conclusion. He was the "judge" and the "decider" of their fates, and never sought out an alternate route to solve this problem that would have ended no other way as it did. That is extreme shortsightedness, foolishness and rash political mindset.

He never should have been given the Hokage seat to lead the entire village with such an unbending and hardheaded nature going beyond an average man's stupidity. That is not how you handle Clan differences. That is the example you quote on how to "avoid" such great political blunders and mishaps.

so u would've preferred madara as second hokage?
If Madara was given a chance to show the goodness and people would've gotten to know him, they would've accepted him. On the other hand, Tobirama was a good Hokage. It was just his paranoia and prejudice against the Uchiha that ruined everything. He couldn't let it go despite the fact that the Uchiha wanted nothing, but peace.

And yes, Madara should've been an Hokage if the opposite happened. But not until he learned to strengthen his leadership qualities and everyone having the opportunity to see the good inside of him, even Tobirama himself. He should've also been Hashirama's second advisor.

If the Uchias weren't such whiny b*****s Tobirama wouldn't have had to worry about them in the 1st place.
Just another hater response.

How would you feel if your family was discriminated against and stripped of their rights and freedoms? You call them whiny, but cannot wrap your childish mind around the fact that they had to deal with countless injustices by Konoha's government, Tobirama, and Danzo. Haters like you can never understand that.

It's like how racist white people blame blacks for everything and try to call themselves the victims, but ignore the countless injustices that black people have faced in the past 300 years and are still facing even today.

Madara was no stranger to Hashirama. They were best friends and they are reincarnations of the Sage's sons. On the other hand, all I'm saying is that Hashirama was too soft to take care of his brother. He knew his brother was going to ruin everything and Madara warned him, but he didn't listen.

Tobirama destroyed his brother's dream.
