Who was A Bigger Failure? Obito or Sasuke?

Obito:

-failed at protecting his friends
-failed at saving rin
-failed at retrieving nine tails
-failed at achieving hokage status
-failed at casting IT
-failed at defeating NarSasu Iso Susanoo
-failed to capture naruto

I probably missed some

Sasuke:

-failed to defeat itachi in hotel
-failed to beat gaara at chunin exams forest
-failed to protect sakura
-failed to beat deidera cuz he committed suicide
-failed to beat Itachi cuz he died from disease
-failed to beat or capture killer bee
-failed to kill danzou since he committed suicide
-SUCCEEDED in beating Kabuto with Edo Itachi
-failed to kill obito since madara took over his body for rinne tensei
-failed to kill madara since madara dam near killed him
-SUCCEEDED in sealing kaguya
-failed to kill Naruto
-failed to achieve his revolution
-failed to become hokage


I feel like i miss some for Obito

Sasuke tried to tell Naruto that his plan was for the best. I agree that he shouldn't had tried to kill Naruto, but Sasuke's plan is looking way better now that this has happened. Naruto thought he could make the world better on the bet on some stupid prophecy and Fairy Tail friendship. Now, look at the results.

Obito died a failure, and was only ever used by Madara/Kaguya up until the last few hours of his life. He never got a chance to find happiness or live for his own ideals, but he was able to die for them.

Sasuke managed to redeem himself after making peace with Naruto, was instrumental in saving the world from Madara/Kaguya, and continued to live to protect the world and safeguard the new generation. Sasuke is able to succeed where each of the previous Uchiha failed, by having the faith they lacked while still providing the "protection from the shadows" needed in the system. He's basically what Madara/Itachi could have been, and learned from their mistakes and their circumstances, just as Naruto learned from the failings of the previous Hokage.

Anyway, there's my serious response to what may well be a character bashing thread.

It basically goes back to Hashirama and Madara beliefs, which are pratically the same since there both transmigrants. For almost the first time, we would have seen what it could of been like with someone who had opposing beliefs to Naruto/Hashirama to be Kage, which would have been Danzo. He wasn't even a Kage for long since he was killed. Naruto thought that the war would bring peace; but as Pain said clearly, as long as their is pain in the world then there will never be peace. Going around and trying to TnJ every person who opposes Naruto beliefs isn't the solution. It doesn't make Naruto look good with village completely destroyed, but I'm interested to see how Sasuke's plan would have gone. "One who bares the burden" Imagine a Kage who had firm beliefs like Naruto during the time of the Uchiha Massacre. You know someone with Naruto beliefs wouldn't vote to slaughter the Uchiha, but in the end it had to be done or else even more people would have been annihilated because there are more villagers than there are Uchiha, and their Coup' would have been just as bad, if not worse than how all the Uchiha were slaughtered. The Naruto world is a place of conflict, and believing that peace can be withstood forever is only an imaginable fairy tale like you stated.
