You do have a point. They all had brutal deaths it's hard to choose who was worse. Deidara, Yahiko, Nagato and Kisame chose to die and arguably Sasori as it is implied he chose not to dodge. So that takes away some of the brutality because it was their own choice.

Kakuzu and White Zetsu (I think was killed by Sasuke) had average typical fighting deaths. Itachi died just because he was sick so I wouldn't say that was the most brutal.

So it's out of Obito who turned to ash, Hidan who got his head cut off and buried under tonnes of rocks (still makes me cringe) and Konan who got a pipe shoved staight through her :sdo:

Hidan's case should be the most brutal imo.. His severed head was talking which more or less removes his need for oxygen. How exactly is he then supposed to die in that hole?
