All i can say is things will get better with time and initiative things are better then they were 24 years agoOh, so LGBT-people only live in these so-called "fair minded" countries? The fair minded countries are France, as well as the scandinavian ones. Changing the "official" gender without much paperwork, psychological therapy and the need to match specific requirements, being able to form same-*** marriages that are equal to hetero-marriages, the right to adopt children for same-*** couples etc. Germany and other progressive western countries are not on this level.
And that's only the official aspect. The society, the common people, still bear grudges against LGBT very often. Discrimination is still a big issue.
But what about the other, lower educated parts of the world that are not "fair minded", where LGBT members need to hide and live in fear, because otherwise they would be tyrannized and killed by the people around them. This is wrong and needs to stop.
I'm glad if your boss really doesn't experience much negative treatment, but this isn't as common as you might think.
So? Should we just accept bullying? Should we then just accept discrimination and murder too, because it's "a fact of everyday life"? My point is, the societies often are the ones who fuqs up and then blame the victims as if it was their own fault.
No no one should accept bullying the victim should never be blamed but pressed to defend themselves if need be bullys are cowards they will pick on the weak or those they know wont defend themselves
